“I can’t say enough about Alison’s dedication to her clients. She goes above and beyond and in this industry, that’s what you need. I am a local builder in the Houston/Galveston area and I hire Alison for the majority of my spec and customs homes. I also hire her for our commercial projects and she is the designer for all of our remodels. It’s comforting to know that when we bring her on a job, she’s going to make our clients feel safe and comfortable all while attending to their needs and questions. Attention to detail is her top priority and that makes my job so much easier. She is a breeze to work with and our collaborations always turn out incredible! Even when a few things did not work out, replacing the accessories was no problem. I am so so happy with the end result (especially the large painting). “JoJo helped me select furniture for my formal living space. There were several things I wanted--a place for books and a desk, as well as seating. I was very happy with the way she helped me divide up the long room. She offered us 3 furniture options, and we picked the one that best matched our style. There was absolutely no pressure, but she did help us move the project forward and saved us time furniture shopping. If we'd tried to do it on our own, it would have taken ages, and we just don't have that kind of time, AND we would have ended up with furniture that would quickly look dated. The look she gave us was midcentury modern, and it goes great with our home. We are extremely happy with the final product and with her reasonable rates. There were no surprise expenses. We understood the costs at every step of the way, and JoJo kept everything within the budget and offered affordable options at every step.”

“Missy is a color genius--I recently purchased a highly contemporary town house in North Montrose which, as expected, was very stark, edgy and white. Although the majority of my rooms remain this way (by design), I did need to add some interest in certain rooms using color whilst co-ordinating with the remainder of my contemporary furniture. Missy assisted me with color advice and selection in four separate areas: my bedroom, dining room, powder room, and office. In all cases, she spent a significant amount of time with me to understand my personality, and then assisted me with color selection, including gently guiding me (effectively by "giving me permission") to go with my personality and select a more "out there" color than I originally was thinking about. For my personality, she realized that I would feel most comfortable with a funky chocolate brown (one wall in dining area), funky orange (powder room), citriline (office), and a very muted gray/brown (master bedroom and bathroom). I am extremely pleased that she gently guided me in this direction, and I couldn't recommend her more highly. Thank you Missy!”

“I am a first time homeowner and I was at a loss about decorating. Houzz connected me with wonderful designer Flo Mangan and she’s been amazing! She has incredible talent and a keen eye for design. She helped me with the fabric for my "hand me down" occasion chairs and made them look like a million bucks! In fact, she is helping me with my whole house. She’s so quick to respond to all my questions. When I am out shopping and see something, I simply email her a photo and dimensions and she responds back in seconds. Now I am not constantly returning wrong things I buy or get stuck with something that can't be used. My home is now so chic. I think it can even be comparable to those homes featured on Houzz! Just take a look at the before and after photos for yourself! She gets excited with you about your projects like they are her own and most of all, she cares about you. She’s not about making money; she really wants to help people. She is so generous to share her talent like this with people in need. She needs to write a book: “Decorating 101 for Dummies”. Thank you Flo! I’m so grateful to you!”

“We called Interiors by Kate to remodel 4 rooms; a living room, a dining room, a laundry room, and a play room for our son. In a short period of time, Kate had a sense for our style by simply asking a few questions and ask us to choose pictures of rooms that we liked. This was helpful because, while we had a sense for what we were looking for, we couldn't articulate exactly what we wanted. We travel a lot and were not always thinking about the project. Kate struck a nice balance of keeping us on task without being annoying or pushy. What we appreciated the most was that Kate was willing to shop for us and bring back items to try out in-house. Whatever we didn't like, she would return. This is probably the biggest reason why we were able finish our project. I would highly recommend Interiors by Kate, LLC.”

“Emily was wonderful to work with. I needed help decorating the main living area of my home for a couple of years, but struggled to find a decorator whose opinion I trusted. Emily is not only innovative from a design standpoint, but is also a great listener and helped me bring my vision to life. She suggested the perfect furniture, rug, fabrics, and layout for my room. It was a very smooth and enjoyable experience and I couldn't be happier with how my room turned out. I highly recommend Emily to help you with your project no matter how big or small.”
