“Tamara prevented us from making some huge mistakes in our home decorating. She first looked at our budget before making suggestions as to what we would like to buy. She put a lot of time into researching all of the items that we needed and then gave us pictures and descriptions. She was very easy to work with. She took us to many places to actually see the items and to compare them. She consulted with our carpenter to make sure that he was following directions. “For 6 plus years I had been envisioning my new kitchen, then we finally decided to take the plunge. Since I had never done a complete room remodel I didn’t know where to start. I contacted an acquaintance that is strictly a commercial designer and she recommended Deborah Griffin. Deborah and I met and hit it off immediately. When I showed her my sketches for the remodel, she asked all the right questions and educated me on the process of a full kitchen remodel. We then made the decision to work together. After interviewing a few contractors I determined Deborah’s recommendation for a general contractor was spot on, as were her many connections which were utilized throughout this project. While construction was underway, Deborah shared ideas, provided samples of fabrics and tiles, pictures of lighting, etc. to help me with decisions. I’m a visual person, so many times she made sketches to help me understand the idea/concept she had in mind. She gave me suggestions such as “Go somewhere you can touch and handle the hardware before ordering”. Good thing too, because my online choice didn’t feel good at all, and I would not have been happy with it. My cabinet color choice was white with white granite. My island was going to be red with green granite. I know your thinking “Christmas”, but I loved the granite I had picked out and I wanted a red base. Deborah spent hours helping me to find the perfect shade of red to make the island the amazing centerpiece I knew it could be, and there is not even a hint of Christmas. During the entire remodel Deborah was there for me, guiding me in the right directions while all the time respecting my sense of eclectic, modern, rustic style. She always went that extra mile and was instrumental in helping me deal with difficult issues that arose during the process. Deborah will be my go to person for any of my future designer needs. I trust her and know that her ultimate goal is to make sure I am totally satisfied with the end results. Let’s see what can I do next?”
