“Brenda decorated our living/dining/kitchen area as well as our guest bedroom and bath. We asked her to incorporate some of the items we already had as well as all of our furninture, then gave her a small budget for additonal items to tie the rooms together. Then we went on vacation and gave her the house for a week. Our reveal when we came home was great! I was amazed at how different the rooms looked just by how she rearraned the furniture and changed the placement of most of our art. It was a completely different room. And the curtains and acessories she added are gorgeous! It's been about 7 months now and I still sit on my couch and admire how beautiful the space is. She definatley listened to what we wanted and absoltuely delivered.”

“Gabi is excellent at formulating and coordinating all elements of design, both interior and exterior, and she has great experience with high-end materials. She designed our new house from the floor plan stage to furnishing each individual room, and within the realm of design, she definitely has the "gift". She probed to understand our priorities and matched the design to what we envisioned. Our rooms have a smooth and comfortable feeling that is hard to describe (some call it chi), but it is something you definitely feel when a room has it. We have gone on dozens of shopping trips with her, and always, she questions us about priorities, and then knows exactly where to find our style of items. She coordinated 20 different paint colors in one house, and the rooms flow seamlessly from one to another. She has designed other property for us with the same results every time. Her style is to find out our needs, lead us to it, adjust some variables, and then, install and carry to completion. She is exceptional at formulating a motif, drawing plans and specs, and helping us “see” it before money is spent. We went against her recommendation twice, and had to re-do both of those items; and subsequently, her original choices fit perfectly. In short, Gabi is an expert in interior design; she has the formal education, breath of knowledge and years of experience required to perform exceptionally.”

“I highly recommend ALD. Ashley did an amazing job on my home. She was involved during the construction phrase. She assisted me in color selection of the wall paint, all tile throughout home and the flooring. ALD furnished the entire home and it looks better than the models. It’s exactly what I wanted. I truly received the white glove treatment.”

“I worked with Sophia Greenberg of Gossip Interior Design on designing and changing upholstery for seat cushions and pillows in my living room. Sophia is highly professional and creative, as well as very good at listening to customer's needs. Sophia worked within my budget and in a very efficient manner. She did an excellent job and I will employ Gossip Interior Design if I have any other projects in my house.”

“We worked with Suzanne on a large remodeling project covering 8 rooms/areas of our house. She took the time to learn how we used these spaces and how we wanted to use them in the future. She also paid attention to special needs such as the pets that we have and keeping this in mind when selecting furnishings. Suzanne created a space plan and visual concept drawing for us to review/change before proceeding with each room and worked very hard to incorporate all of our requirements. We had a very positive experience working with Suzanne and will absolutely work with her again when we are ready to do the next project.”

“I needed to downsize, meld styles and add color to our new home. We purchased items that we needed quickly without having an overall plan. I realized that we needed help. Found Friedman & Shields on-line and really liked their work. I have been very pleased with their ability to listen & ask about my preferences and then to offer choices to bring a cohesive design within budget. While the finished product is not yet complete, I know it's going to be stellar.”
