“I was looking to remodeled my bathroom and looking for a interior designer to assist me with the design of the bathroom. I hired DIH Design to help complete the task. The owner and designer was wonderful. She provided a design plan that was not only beautiful but also fit into my budget. As difficult arose related to our first contractor, Asisat was patient with us and even brought another contractor to make sure we complete the bathroom on time. She even rolled up her sleeves and helped paint just to save me money. I would definitely recommend DIH Design to anyone. I plan on remodeling my kitchen soon, I plan on hiring DH Design. Hire her, you won’t regret it.”

“My wife and I just completed a project with interior designer, Andrea Houck, president of A. Houck Designs. We were very happy with the end result of our living room, dining room, foyer, and kitchen breakfast nook. This was the first time that we had used an interior designer and Andrea was able to easily answer all of our questions and guide us through the entire process from design concept through installation. After initially speaking with us and finding out what we did and didn’t like, she was able to help us define our style and presented us with a number of different options for each room that we were able to refine and choose from. She also helped us to pick a unique color palette that coordinated from room to room and, importantly, easily fit with the rest of our existing home. We ended our project on a positive note with Andrea and we would recommend A. Houck Designs to anyone. Jason – Arlington, VA”

“Nancy and Bethany did a superb job redesigning The Yoga Connection! It is absolutely beautiful! They listened to my vision and successfully created exactly what I dreamed it could and should be. These 2 women are very professional by providing design boards with ideas of the furniture, colors, etc. and alternative looks. They also completed it in a very timely fashion from the drawing to the finished look!”

“Shanon was very fun to work with. She help us update our old salon look to more modern style and our customers love it. The new waxing room is so relaxing, my clients never want to leave. They fall asleep in there! She also help organize our back-stock and break area. The staff can find products more easily and everybody is so happy. We will definitely hire her again for our next upgrade!”

“Design for change worked with our non- profit on a pro-bono basis. We are a domestic violence organization that was trying to outfit 30 apartment units on a shoestring. Kathleen was so knowledgeable about how to make spaces inviting and comfortable for our clients. Her social work background was such an asset. She was also able to create beautiful spaces with donated and inexpensive items!!! She can make anything look gorgeous I only wish we had a bigger budget. She outfitted 30 units quickly, efficiently and consistently between units. I was amazed and very thankful. We expanded to an additional building 10 months later and she was up to the task! That is a whopping 49 units! She is compassionate, professional and not afraid to roll up her sleeves. Highly recommended! Natalia”

We especially liked working with Linda and her staff because they took the time to get to know us and our likes and dislikes. They then proposed design concepts compatible with our desires and were always happy to revise plans based on our input. The results are excellent and we now consider Linda a good friend. “We remodeled our kitchen last year, starting in November 2012. I was fortunate enough to work with Corey Hamby on this project! She was thoughtful, creative, respectful of my wishes, stayed on budget and always returned a call or email immediately -- just a joy to work with! I felt (feel) I could trust her opinion and ended up asking for it on other rooms in our home, (paint colors and window treatments.) I can't say enough positive things about our experience with her. If we ever do more "work" on our home I would call her again. I can't visualize concepts......that was no problem for her, she would send pictures, drawings, anything to walk me thru it, she is a very patient person! I love our kitchen and dining room, I still walk in and think, "I just love this." And it wouldn't have been possible without Corey's expert assistance. She was just what my husband and I needed by our side during our remodeling experience. Definitely 5 stars!”
