“Last year we gutted our kitchen and installed a Downsview Kitchen from Yorkville Design. I have nothing but praise for the service and quality we received. Thomas Tampold and his team pre-visualized a 3D mock up on the computer so we were able to "walk through" our future kitchen. They helped us with lighting and appliance selection, and all the other small details. Carefully measured, and working within our budget, they delivered a fully completed kitchen of world class quality and finish. We were so pleased with the final results that we are hiring them to design and install another kitchen at our cottage. Simply put - they're the best in Toronto.”

“It is always very difficult to choose a designer when it comes to renovations and so I hope very much that this review will help others like me to make a wise decision. I have worked with EDesign studio on few occasions now and I have to say that the experience and the dedication to get the job done properly is the least that you should expect from them. “Terrific from start to finish! HFD was able to able to update our tired kitchen and family room. Made it beautiful as well as functional (I Love to cook and finally have a kitchen that "works"!) Lots of options in terms of pricing - Alicia always presented 3-4 possibilities for each piece we bought that covered a range in pricing. She was professional and knowledgeable and frankly easy to communicate with. She is connected with some terrific suppliers - we got the stone that everyone else wanted!!!! She has great vision and can make it happen!”

“Recently I purchased my first apartment with my boyfriend. Because I had never decorated my own place before I was very confused with colour choices and on what wall each colour should be on. Lori was beyond the most helpful, patient and knowledgeable interior decorate I have ever come across. She explained to me how the sun can come in at certain angles making the colour choices I picked looking very different than the colour samples. Because of her she made our apartment feel like a home rather than a stepping stone till our next place. I couldn’t have done it without her help!”

“Gabriele has worked on two different projects in my home. She was always punctual for our meetings and she delivered products on schedule. She gave great advice regarding painting, window and floor coverings. Together we selected furniture, fabric coverings and accessories for my home. Gabriele had a very good sense of what I was looking for and did not try to suggest changes that would not suit my lifestyle. She always worked within my budget. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Gabriele. She is very professional and so excited to see her customers happy with the completed project. I recently contacted Gabriele to ask about a paint colour that had been used in my home in the past. She returned my call immediately and was pleased to answer my questions. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gabriele to assist others with their decorating needs.”

“Jane is intuitive and clever, never cocky or snobby -she works with real people and budgets and the results are always spectacular. I'm an ex-coworker, I guess, I worked with Jane as the producer of her show, "Colour Confidential". We produced 26 episodes together. Jane was a dream to work with from a TV producing perspective, 'we' transformed over fifty rooms from bare bones to completely decorated- on extremely limited budgets! I LOVED that job -got a design 'fix' everyday! Jane is a colour expert and since the show finished she continues to amaze me with her excellent work with clients, the launch of her own furniture line and her tireless work at Home Shows and designing entire high end model homes for Ontario companies like Kylemore. Jane even won the Pinnacle award and 1st place in the Large Kitchen category at the NKBA Awards in 2011. I know I sound like a commercial but I'm really a big fan. She deserves the recognition and she won't blow her own horn!”

“Natalie Froom handled the entire project with care and with knowledge that helped us have two extremely well designed and most functional lovely bathrooms in all aspects. The entire project was handled and completed on schedule and whilst we were out of the country. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Tony and Phyllis Lasarow.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with LDR Designs on multiple projects over the past 3 years. I would highly recommend Linda DeRuiter and LDR Deisgns to anyone needing a design firm for major projects and smaller design projects. In our previous home LDR Designs gutted our kitchen and main bathroom. The end result was well designed, beautiful and functional. Our most recent project was in our new home. LDR Designs gutted our basement, dug down, installed radiant heating, gutted the basement bathroom and laundry room and then finished with new storage, cabinets and lovely finishes throughout. We are thrilled with the end result. LDR Designs also gutted the master bath and redesigned a 2nd floor bedroom for more space and storage. We are delighted with results and will continue to work with LDR Designs on future projects.”
