“Oat design &build has completed a couple projects for my wife and I, including remodeling to our kitchen and bath. I’m not sure how they do it, but our projects were given a ton of attention and thought well before they began, exceeded our expectations as far as appearance and function. Changing soemthing mid project was not a problem, and again the patience and attention to detail was impressive. Our new go-to consultants and builders. A+ design! Trustworthy and fair... they came back to fix a problem.”

“Bill Koehnlein and his team at Collaborative Design differentiate themselves from the rest by the value they place on relationship. That was the factor that drew me to hire them for our initial project in 2008. We have returned to Bill through the years for design work, furnishings, and remodeling. We are currently working on an extensive remodel of a downtown condo and couldn’t have done it without the creativity and attention to detail that Bill and his team have brought to the project. We feel well cared for and respected throughout the process. His knowledge of materials and patience are greatly appreciated when so many decisions need to be made. I never feel rushed and we enjoy some laughs along the way. The process is as important to me as the outcome and working with Bill has been a pleasure.”

“Linda at Portico interiors helped us with the interoir colors and finishing design work for our major remodel. She was great at listening to us to learn what we like and then try to put color and design touches together that we liked. Our house was originally built in 1910 with a mix of Victorian and Craftsman style. She kept true to the original style so the house flows from the old to the new.”
