Penelope Daborn Ltd.

“We have worked with Penelope Daborn Ltd. on several occasions. We are always pleased with the results. Penny has helped in choosing colors, fabrics and drapes. We recently built a new porch and we had seen a sofa we liked in a magazine. Penny helped to design the piece to be built. In addition she helped with the spatial arrangement of the room, the selection of fabric and window coverings and additional furnishings. We originally worked with Penelope Daborn Ltd. 7 years ago when we moved to a new house. We always come back for her expert eye, wealth of knowledge and the top notch coordination in making the arrangements for acquiring what we need.”

“Sandy and I have worked on 3 different projects since she started her company. Also at this time Sandy is helping me with a new kitchen project as we have recently downsized. She is very professional and fun to work with. She can work with all different client styles. My style seems to lean towards relaxed elegance and she nails it every time I hire her. However I have seen some other projects she has done that are contemporary or lake style, classic etc. and they all reflect her clients tastes and are lovely. She is truly an artist. I have recommended her to all my friends.”

“Vanessa really *gets* us, and to the extent our house is warm, inviting, and comfortable, it is largely her doing. It is what we wanted without knowing we wanted it. We still find ourselves using her, even at long distance. She's just that good.”

“Caroline was amazing at helping us visualize our space while we were renovating. She has a great vision and was instrumental in getting us where we needed to be mentally for our renovation so we could move forward with kitchen plan. She works really fast, has tons of ideas that she shares in person and a great personality, easy to work with!”

“I've worked with many Designers, but few have the Integrity that Angela has cultivated in her young years. This is most evident in her choice to include local artisans in her design projects...I'm proud to be one of them! Angela sees the "Extraordinary" in everyday "ordinary" objects, and elevates them to an honored place in the home. Bold and crazy cool, expertly edited, and sophisticated beauty...IS Angela Stone Design...and is also, Angela:)”

“Our project was the renovation of a 4500 sq ft home on Lake Winnipesaukee. We had a short timeframe of completion in 2.5 months. When the completion date came and some things had not arrived in time they kindly loaned us furniture so we could entertain guests for a long holiday weekend. Home Comfort is all about customer service. The best I have ever experienced. They offer full-service decorating and remodeling which is very helpful. We are very happy with the quality and uniqueness of their products and we highly recommend them.”

“Randy searched me out for the rare furniture genre I make and that she envisioned for a recent project: redesign of the lobby of an architecturally and historically prominent hotel in Portsmouth. The lobby has an early 1900's fireplace with a 48 inch brass horseshoe sculpture and English horse scenes in relief in the terracotta walls that frame it. I make English club fender fireplace benches. Among designers I know, Randy has an exceptional depth of knowledge of the style and function of club fenders. In this case our collaboration added seating that celebrates the artistry and English influences in the fireplace, and the coziness and intimacy of a club fender on the hearth complements the more formal conversational areas of the lobby. Interior design should blend historical relevance, beauty and function. Randy's design does this.”
