“Missy is a color genius--I recently purchased a highly contemporary town house in North Montrose which, as expected, was very stark, edgy and white. Although the majority of my rooms remain this way (by design), I did need to add some interest in certain rooms using color whilst co-ordinating with the remainder of my contemporary furniture. Missy assisted me with color advice and selection in four separate areas: my bedroom, dining room, powder room, and office. In all cases, she spent a significant amount of time with me to understand my personality, and then assisted me with color selection, including gently guiding me (effectively by "giving me permission") to go with my personality and select a more "out there" color than I originally was thinking about. For my personality, she realized that I would feel most comfortable with a funky chocolate brown (one wall in dining area), funky orange (powder room), citriline (office), and a very muted gray/brown (master bedroom and bathroom). I am extremely pleased that she gently guided me in this direction, and I couldn't recommend her more highly. Thank you Missy!”

“Adeline was a pleasure to work with. She is reliable, hard-working and creative. I was 90% done with the purchase of furniture for my living room but hating how it was coming together. Adeline came in and rearranged things and pulled a couple of pieces from another part of my house and voila, I was beginning to love my room. She helped me finish that room and I worked with her on refreshing a couple of more rooms in my house. We purchased some new furniture as well as reupholstered pieces that we already have and we were very pleased with the results. Adeline does a great job with respecting budgets and utilizing pieces that you already own in new ways.”

“Kara and my design team at The Design Firm were excellent. I appreciated all the hard work put in by everyone and I was very impressed by the extent they took to take care of our liking. Even when a few things did not work out, replacing the accessories was no problem. I am so so happy with the end result (especially the large painting). I highly recommend them and I look forward to working with them again!”

“I can’t say enough about Alison’s dedication to her clients. She goes above and beyond and in this industry, that’s what you need. I am a local builder in the Houston/Galveston area and I hire Alison for the majority of my spec and customs homes. I also hire her for our commercial projects and she is the designer for all of our remodels. It’s comforting to know that when we bring her on a job, she’s going to make our clients feel safe and comfortable all while attending to their needs and questions. Attention to detail is her top priority and that makes my job so much easier. She is a breeze to work with and our collaborations always turn out incredible! “We called Interiors by Kate to remodel 4 rooms; a living room, a dining room, a laundry room, and a play room for our son. In a short period of time, Kate had a sense for our style by simply asking a few questions and ask us to choose pictures of rooms that we liked. This was helpful because, while we had a sense for what we were looking for, we couldn't articulate exactly what we wanted. We travel a lot and were not always thinking about the project. Kate struck a nice balance of keeping us on task without being annoying or pushy. What we appreciated the most was that Kate was willing to shop for us and bring back items to try out in-house. Whatever we didn't like, she would return. This is probably the biggest reason why we were able finish our project. I would highly recommend Interiors by Kate, LLC.”

“I hired Simply Elegant Interiors in March 2014. I wanted faux iron above the fireplace. Robyn came to my home and explained what the process was in ordering and installing the Faux Iron. She brought samples of the Faux Iron, and after the area was measured the order was placed. My Faux Iron was delivered and installed in the exact time she said it would be and my piece was beautiful. While in my home, Robyn gave me decorating ideas for my kitchen, which I have put into place. I Highly recommend Simply Elegant Interiors and would definitely use her again.”

“Emily was wonderful to work with. I needed help decorating the main living area of my home for a couple of years, but struggled to find a decorator whose opinion I trusted. Emily is not only innovative from a design standpoint, but is also a great listener and helped me bring my vision to life. She suggested the perfect furniture, rug, fabrics, and layout for my room. It was a very smooth and enjoyable experience and I couldn't be happier with how my room turned out. I highly recommend Emily to help you with your project no matter how big or small.”
