“Viki and Phil have been outstanding partners on our (almost) full house renovation (everything except the kitchen), as well as a full redesign of the front of the house, including a secure garage. From early planning and creative ideation through to detailed designs, drawings, planning submissions and helping us find and secure a builder, they’ve been brilliant at every stage. Viki is incredibly creative and the mood board stage was just endless excitement! Her ideas have completely elevated the project - from wallpaper wtih monkeys chilling out eating popcorn and drinking cocktails in the bathroom, to a Victoriana curiosity shop-inspired wall in our living room, to sourcing a beautiful slab of South African stone for our dining table. Phil, as the architect, has been equally exceptional. He developed all of the layouts and led the detailed design with real precision and care, combining creativity with a deep technical understanding. His attention to detail on drawings and planning has been outstanding, and he’s been instrumental in translating ideas into something that is both beautiful and buildable (and being endlessly patient with our many comments and requests). The balance between Viki’s creativity and Phil’s architectural rigour & precision is a real strength. What really stands out is how bespoke their approach is. There’s no “off-the-shelf” thinking - they take the time to really understand what matters and respond with fresh, thoughtful ideas. We always felt listened to. They’ve also been very mindful of budget. Our spend has increased from our original plan, but that’s entirely down to us expanding the scope as we got more excited about the possibilities, not through any lack of rigour on their side. They are a pleasure to work with: professional, patient, highly responsive, and excellent at project management. Everything has moved at pace without us ever needing to chase. The builder they recommended (someone they’ve worked with frequently) has also been fantastic. We’re midway through the build, everything is on time and going to plan, and excited to move back in soon. Viki & Phil stand head and shoulders above others we’ve worked with — and are genuinely lovely people too. We would hire them again without question.”
