“I spent hours trailing the Internet and numerous garden centres for rattan furniture also other styles, I really did my home work, it wasn't until I took the extra little journey to wickford, Essex that I felt finally confident, happy and ready to purchase. Not an easy buy is furniture and accessories, however the experienced staff weren't fussy, were warming, knowledgable and made it all that easy. See you again soon.”

“i met brendan a few years ago when he successfully applied to join the suffolk craft society of which i, too, am a member. all i need to say is that brendan is a lovely young bloke who makes things properly..... not as beautiful as mine, needless to say!..... but i would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. whatever he makes you will be beautifully made and will do its job for years to come.”

“I got one of the Dodo cushions (though it was a tough choice - the owls and the dogs are really cute too) and I am so pleased with it and I've had several friends comment on how unusual it is - it's quite the talking piece. The fabric is really good quality and the stitching really impressed me - it feels like it will last a long time and will stand up to the stresses and strains of your average family sofa! I may just have to get my dodo a companion... :)”

“I had an idea for seating in our kitchen, but Simon Holding Upholstery brought it to life. I must say I didn’t expect it to be as brilliant as it is. To start, they created the frame for our banquette seating, which was made with precision – exactly to fit in the space. It wasn’t long before the entire banquette was upholstered and it was ready to install and fitted beautifully by Mike. So much care was taken from start to finish, overseen by Simon, with his eye for perfection and flair. I can’t recommend Simon Holding Upholstery enough. They were friendly, creative and produced our seating beyond expectations.”

“I had seen furniture made by gerard lewis designs in the home of my neighbour. He had a beautiful dining room table with upholstered dining chairs. I had been searching for some time for a good quality dining table and I had not been able to find anything I liked on the high street or by searching the web. I contacted the company and they came to my house to discuss the project. Nick was very friendly and knowledgeable about furniture and I immediately felt confident that he would be able to make me what I wanted. He left a variety of wood samples with me and then sent me the technical drawing of the table and chairs and other furniture for me to agree before the furniture went into production. Once I was happy with the design, size and wood I signed the drawings off and the furniture was made for me. Several of their guys arrived to deliver. Such a professional job – they laid carpets from the front door to where I wanted the furniture in the dining room to protect my carpets. The furniture was carefully placed where I wanted it. It was perfect. They have since made furniture for my hallway and we discussing more furniture for my home office and several of the bedrooms. I can thoroughly recommend this company if you are looking for well made, good quality furniture that is different from anything else you can find and you want a really personalised service; they are exceptional.”
