Rebecca Holt, Ethan Allen Raleigh
Custom Furniture in Stem.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars9 November 2016
“Rebecca was fabulous to work with. We really did not know where to start and had lots of ideas floating around. She was patient and thoughtful and took the time to come to our house, evaluate the furniture and furnishings we had and then come up with a plan we loved and felt fit us. She was practical, creative, fun - she has a great personality - and we never felt like she was trying to pressure us or "up sell" us into any decision. As new items or fabrics came in, she gave us more options and helped us narrow down the best one for our family. We love our house and our furniture! I never would have believed we could accomplish this since we were so uncertain about how to start. We ended up doing several rooms and she helped us make the most of what we had already. We would definitely use her again.”

“We commissioned David to build a farmhouse table and bench. We wanted something unique, substantial and beautiful and that's just what our counter-height kitchen table turned out to be. David and his company are down to earth and take pride in their work. Under the Table Company delivered a high quality, heirloom piece that we will cherish for many years to come. I would highly recommend David and Under the Table Company for your next furniture project.”

“We brought an idea to Hill Country Woodworks for a couple of barn doors we wanted in our new house and the result was nothing less than fantastic. They took our idea and supplied us with suggestions for improving it and both doors turned out great. I'd posed the idea of putting removable glass panels in the door with small screw in frames and they made it so much better with heavy duty magnets built into the frames. Now I can change the color of my glass seasonally or at my whim. I can't say enough about what quality work these guys do.”

“I discovered Kamiya on Houzz while searching for an artistic occasional table for my new downtown loft apartment. I visited the online store and was thrilled to learn the physical store is located right here in Durham, NC. Yesterday, I dropped by and the furniture is even more beautiful in person. What an amazing shop! I fell in love with the glass bowls melted over teak root, the polished teak wood bowls, and the wood hand sculptures that can sit upright on a dresser or be screwed into a wall to hold scarves/jewelry. Jeremy, one of the owners, was arranging new merchandise and was authenticly helpful without being pushy. The prices also seem reasonable to me.”

“We had been shopping (for some time) for a mid-size sectional and recliner for our den. My neighbor suggested I stop by Homebridge Design as they have beautiful furniture, accessories, and lighting all at very affordable pricing. Not only were Meredith & Darren very helpful they were very friendly, knowledgeable and just fun to work with. We now have a beautiful new sofa, leather recliner that are both very, very comfortable and high quality workmanship. We ended up purchasing a very cool, fun print as well. They are now our "go to" for furnishings, etc. I have to make myself stay out of that store:-) !!”

In the fall of 2014, Ivy and I discussed a project together and I can attest to her passion for customer service and her overall professionalism! In fact, so inspired by her following her dream...I took the leap and I opened my own design focused retail boutique with a classic cool vibe, elegant, yet eclectic point of view, downtown, called Ashley Clarke, Chapel Hill.
