“I purchased 2 Barcelona Chairs and 1 ottoman in Ivory leather. After reviewing the many companies on line who are so called experts in reproduction of the mid century modern classics I decided to definitely work with Curt and Kendra from Modern Classics. My delight was when they sent me the 2 chair cushions for colour comparisons along with return packaging. I feel they trusted me enough to know I would purchase from them. I will absolutely go to them again on my next project. The product is well made, a classic actually and one would not know it was a reproduction unless you looked for the signature. Thanks Curt. “Kurva Design recently fabricated and replaced washboards and trim pieces throughout the cockpit of my Catalina 27. Mike approached the project with enthusiasm and creativity, and he researched his materials thoroughly before tackling the job. His attention to detail stands out, particularly with respect to joinery and finish. He has also been generous with suggestions around proper care and maintenance of the new woodwork. This project was a pleasure to watch unfold. Mike communicates well around timelines and deadlines, and I am more than pleased with his craftsmanship and attention to detail.”

“Christopher is not only a world-class craftsman, but also an artist. For my house in the San Juan Islands, Christopher designed and built 26 pieces of custom furniture of cherry, wenge, and teak, one custom mantle of cherry and wenge, and 13 custom doors of teak and cherry. The project spanned almost two years and involved extensive interaction with me. All the work he did for me is artistic and beautifully crafted. I give him my highest recommendation.”
