“The only reason I hesitate to write this review is because I think they are the best kept secret in Fairfield County. I've had them work on quite a few projects including making and upholstering a bed, a couch , a chair, ottomans and swivel chairs. The quality of the work , detail and product is tremendous. I have loved every piece they have done for me. They are true perfectionist and it shows in the end product. As far as customer service , they are a total pleasure to deal with and have high regard for customers. Timing is so important and they deliver on what they say in terms of when projects will be done. I really can not rave enough about how great these guys are.”

“Carlos’ work is indeed simply the best! He learned his craft from his father and grandfather. Therefore, Carlos knows exactly how to “treat” even the oldest piece of furniture, without taking any shortcuts. Highly, highly recommend Carlos Upholstery. Among others, he re-upholstered my great-grandma’s chaiselongue and did a fantastic job!”

“This is a great furniture store, with excellent prices, a knowledgeable staff, and convenient parking. The store is bright, clean, and well maintained, and the staff doesn't pressure you or hover over you like they do in some other places. Definitely a great place to shop!”

“Claudia at La Hue helped me with two upholstery projects, a chair and a love seat. They both came out just beautifully. The love seat needed structural repairs in addition to the reupholstery and they handled that with ease. The jobs were done very quickly and returned to me promptly. I recommend this business highly, not only was the work exceptional, they could not have been more professional or courteous.”

“They just completed a beautiful design project in my home which included my dining room, family room and kids rooms. It all looks better than I ever could have imagined. The designer was so amazing helping me with floor plans, fabrics, wall colors, lighting and just the whole flow... even helping me figure out what style best works for me and the way I live. We still have a lot more work to do. There service and quality is amazing and there store the most beautiful furniture store I have ever seen.”

“I purchased a pair of upholstered chairs from Montage when we were renovating our family room. They are a beautiful blue/grey mohair and not only look great but wear really well also. The store is filled with interesting, high quality mid-century furniture. They have an amazing eye for both furniture and art and is a great resource for one-of-a-kind items. They now have a line of custom upholstered furniture too which is very pretty and fairly priced.”
