“The bed we bought from Earl is by far the most beautiful piece of furniture in our house. He worked with us to incorporate our design ideas, like a curved headboard/ backrest for my wife who likes to read in bed. The result is a piece of art that showcases the color and grain of the different woods (I particularly like the mesquite) while also being comfortable and functional. I almost wish we could keep it in the living room to show it off!”

“I stopped by Pfeifer Studio one day last October on a visit to Albuquerque. I was immediately impressed with the way the shop displays their unique merchandise. I especially liked the way featured items were written on the chalkboard walls. This is really a fun place to shop! In addition to the items I purchased that day, I have ordered several items from their internet site with equal satisfaction. The quality of the workmanship of the imported products was immediately noticeable in comparison to what I have seen in some chain store importers. The side tables and stools that are made right there in New Mexico are really unique and I loved all the choices in stain and paint for them. It was reassuring to be kept up-to-date on the status of my order and notified when the items were shipped. And, who doesn't love the free shipping.”

“Scot Ernst made me a custom desk--burled walnut in art deco style. I had loved his work ever since I was in college, and 10 years later, I was able to buy a piece for myself. He combined my love of art deco with a desire to incorporate a sense of femininity. The thought Scott puts into every design, things a layperson like myself would never think of, included: - Latch items to take the drawers off. The best part of this design is its longevity. The drawers can be tipped up or down on either side to account for the wood expanding due to humidity and age. - Instructions on how to take the desk apart for ease of moving underneath the keyboard tray because Scott knows how often I move. There are other items that make this desk wonderful, but it's the things that no one would ever consider that are what set Scott apart.”
