“I have worked with Jeff McMahon on many design/build projects. He is attuned to working with the topography and the sun when siting his houses. He consults closely with his clients when planning their modernist houses, and finds sustainable solutions for them. He listens to their needs and does as much as possible on paper and computer before breaking ground. When construction starts, Jeff and his crew are focused and efficient. The result is a track record of many striking and beautiful homes, as well as extremely happy homeowners. I can’t recommend Jeffrey McMahon Design + Build highly enough.”

“Working with Beaver Mountain on our addition was a positive experience from the first day to the last. We added a master bedroom and bath, family room, mudroom/laundry entrance and garage, and our "old" porch was enclosed to make a pantry. The original home was sided in the same cedar siding matching the new addition. The guidance and support from Beaver Mountain was professional, skilled, and always available. The materials provided were of the highest quality, The outside cedar siding is 2 inches thick and both sides were stained before being brought to our site. The inside pine is amazingly beautiful and smooth. After blueprints were finalized we were introduced to three contractors who were scheduled at intervals to come to the site, along with B.M.'s Francie Cook, to meet with us and discuss the construction plans. They sent in their bids to B.M. for the project and chose the contractor we felt met our needs the best. This was wonderful since we had never been involved with a construction project before. The project was completed in a timely fashion and we are pleased with our new and improved home.”

“We hired NEPA Builders to renovated our ski house located on base of Elk Mountain, PA. They were very talented, punctual and dependable contractors that we ever worked with. They kept their promises and delivered our house renovation project on time despite of fact that it was one of the coldest and most snowed winter we've had. “I couldn't be happier. Mari's suggestions were top-notch, though my wife and I felt the need to look at lots of other stuff before we returned to her original ideas and saw they were best. The materials were superb, everything was as-advertised, her workers were top professionals, the job has gotten oohs and aahs, even from a cynical friend who is "in the business" in a different county. My wife and I, now 6 months later, still stare admiringly at our new kitchen every day and the many perfect little touches, and can find not one tiny little itsy bitsy complaint or suggestion for improvement. It's gorgeous, it was inexpensive for what we got, it was on time. A rave, right? But she deserves it. It's a matter of taste, but I'd recommend what we got: the quaker maple cabinets, light natural wood (as opposed to painted white) and quartz countertops -- all the way to the ceiling, with concave crown moulding making the connection to the ceiling. Looks like a million bucks. Plus, Mari was delightful. Very upbeat and easy to work with.”

“Burlock Interiors had the pleasure of working with Quatrefoil on a designer showhouse in 2012. They installed a loft and all our wood paneling for us. It was then that we learned that they are general contractors of the highest caliber. This year, they invited us to style one of the kitchens they designed (and built) for a photo shoot. And it was the same thing. Amazing work. Our services certainly overlap. We design kitchens too! The point is, we know great work when we see it. If you want something beautiful in your home to show off to your friends and family, this company is one-stop-shopping. Seriously.”

“We had wanted to remodel and winterize a small summer cottage in Kerhonkson, NY. Based on our experiences with DSW Contracting, who had done excellent work for us on smaller jobs, there was no question we wanted Dave and his team to handle this project. We consulted with Dave in all aspects of design and conception. He gave very thoughtful and expert advice and ultimately convinced us that is would be a better use of funds to build a new house on the existing foundation. That would be the way to achieve all our stated goals for the new design. Since we had never done anything like this before, we were a bit nervous, but we knew we could trust Dave Wilt. Not only did Dave and his amazing team repair the old foundation while raising it two feet, they also built us our dream house. I think the key to DSW Contracting is their attention to detail. 100% of this house was custom built by Dave, including custom cabinetry in bathroom and kitchen, polished cement counter tops, sliding barn wood bathroom door. I could go on. Dave's estimate for this project was extremely accurate. If you are thinking of buying a home, new or older, think again and have Dave build one for you.”

“Hudson Valley Sunrooms were FABULOUS. Working with them was one of the easiest renovation projects I have ever done. Very professional, and conscientious to a fault. My sunroom was completed on time, and within budget. ( And it's BEAUTIFUL! ) One of the things that just 'knocked me out' about the company ( and there were many ) was that my sunroom was delivered ( due to trucking problems beyond their control ) at 3am !!! The OWNER of the company showed up ( at 3am ! ) and handled every bit of the unloading, and sorting, Himself. ( Did I mention that there had been an unexpected snowstorm? ) He was there. The next day ( a few hours later ) his very knowledgeable crew showed up and began putting my sunroom together. Three days later, it was DONE. I couldn't be happier. My sunroom is my favorite room in the house, and Hudson Valley Sunrooms still calls periodically to check up, as a courtesy. I'd use them again. No reservations in recommending them to others. BTW... my sunroom is one of the ones in the slideshow... the one with the gargoyle... :-)”
