He listened well and understood what I wanted, helping me refine my ideas and blend them with his. His design changed the kitchen without changing the footprint which shortened the job. Work started and was finished on schedule. While things such as under counters drawers for china storage will allow me to age more gracefully in place, that the new kitchen functions well is topped by the beauty of the space. “The Katz Builders team is very professional. We have worked on dozens of projects together over a span of over 25 years (my firm draws the plans and Katz does the construction) and every one of my clients who has used Katz for the construction project has been very pleased with quality, professionalism and service. The level of personal attention and care they provide is unparalleled. In one remodel, for instance, they painstakingly removed the original wood casing from doors and reinstalled it after the remodel was finished. Their tile installer did my own floors and I was extremely impressed with how carefully he and his lead installer planned the layout to make sure that the tile was centered on several different axes as well as ensuring no small slivers of tile at edges and other subtle things I would never have noticed had they done it incorrectly. If something "doesn't seem right" about plans we have provided, the Katz team always call to make sure they get it right rather than "winging it" in the field risking misinterpretation of our intent. They have used many of the same sub-contractors the entire time I have known them which means to me that they have loyal sub-contractors and you will get consistent and high quality results from them. And, once again, I want to mention that in all these years I have not once had a homeowner come back to me and complain about them as their builder. That is very rare in this business.”

“Levitas Modern Homes helped us tremendously in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey flooding our home in August of 2017. Jeremy initially helped us with the demo portion of the project to get started drying out the slab and framing. We were so impressed with his knowledge, suggestions and work processes that we contracted him for the entire remodel project. Working through the many constraints present in the Houston area at that time with regard to qualified sub-contractor and materials shortages he still was able to get our home remodel project completed and had us living back in our home by Christmas of that same year.
