“It was a great pleasure to work with John and Advanced Building. They are incredibly professional, detailed, organized and patient. Everyone on staff provided a very high-quality of service. We had our old house demolished and rebuilt from scratch. 3500 sq ft 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. We have been working with our Designer and Architect for over a year making the house perfect and it was finally time to have it built. We found Advanced Building by recommendation from the designer. It took 9 months for the house to be built. We were part of the process through each step and they kept our family updated with each phase. Great communication. Job sites were always clean, secure and active. Fun for the kids to watch from a distance. We are very happy with the quality of work, craftsmanship quality and highly recommended. We love having parties at the house and enjoying the backyard pool. Showing it off!!”

“Review of Mathis Custom Remodeling: We contracted with Phil Mathis in August, 2004 to completely remodel our master bath. The price was competitive and the workmanship was excellent. We selected Phil to remodel our second bath in November, 2006 - a major undertaking. Good price and another excellent job! Just recently (January, 2013), we had Phil modernize our living room, dining room, hallway and entryway. Not only does Phil do excellent work, he has also provided us with design ideas and advice. “We raised our family in the same neighborhood over 26 years. Our home yearned for updating. Some goals were: eliminate fall risks from multi level flooring, make downstairs bathroom senior safe, open up family room and brighten up downstairs with new doors and windows. We chose Marrokal because of their impeccable reputation. We did not seek other bids because ours would be the 7th Marrokal remodel project in our small cul-de-sac. All our neighbors praised their work. The Design Team exceeded our expectations and incorporated creative innovations into our home AND helped us stay within our budget. The production phase required a bit of oversight, but this job, remodeling all of the downstairs, was completed on time in 5 1/2 months. We lived in our home during the project and Marrokal always kept the job site clean! The caliber of subs was top notch. The final product turned out fabulous! Finally, we rarely need to utilize our extended warranty due to the quality of workmanship, nothing breaks! There is no doubt in our minds that we will hire Marrokal for future projects. You should too!!”

“San Diego Master Craftsmen did a complete kitchen and bath overhaul (including a wall removal) on my very difficult old house. The team was extremely skilled, professional and creative. Jon Hammer is very detailed designer and gave me great ideas to make the most of my space while maintaining the character of the home. He also saw to it that numerous other projects around the house were completed concurrently. Every little project was just as important as the major items and everything turned out gorgeous, within my budget! I highly recommend Jon and his team to anyone who wants perfection.”

“We have retained Flagg Coastal Homes to complete a remodel of our guest house located on our property at 160 G Avenue, Coronado.. We selected Flagg because of their experience in completing "Historic" renovations in Coronado. Our home was designated a Historic Resource in 2011. Flagg will be providing design, permitting and construction services. Flagg has already sourced "historically accurate" windows, doors and shutters to complement the existing house.”

What I love about working with this company is that they plan ahead, think through the details of your project and review them with the designer before starting the project, but also while the project is in construction. “Spaces Renewed is a great company managed by a contractor-designer husband & wife team. Beth has a keen eye for design complimented by Marshall's high professional level of construction expertise. It was a real advantage for us to consult with both of them during the initial consultation, and the computer generated plans gave us a real good sense of what the end product would look like. From start to finish they were pleasant and courteous in every way showing a full degree of trustworthiness and honesty. The contractual documents were clearly itemized with plenty of detail, and all our questions were addressed with great care. They had a very skillful work crew that showed careful attention to every detail, including thorough cleanup at the end of every work day. They were always responsive to any questions or requests we had. Workdays were very consistent with no delays, which made the project come in on schedule. Everything worked out to be right on budget, and the final results far exceeded our expectations. We have no hesitation in giving Beth and Marshall the highest rating, and recommending their company to anyone who wants a thoroughly professional job done.”
