“My husband and I chose Charles Ross to build our new home based on the firm's reputation for quality and our meetings with sales staff. They did a terrific job and we just love the new house. We continue to be impressed by their willingness to handle small issues. They insist that all subcontractors adhere to their level of high standards which takes a lot of the stress out of the building process. When we compare our experience with those of other friends and relatives, we are even happier that we didn't make our decision on price. Our new home is wonderful!!”

“I have used Cobblestone Development Group and Josh Romano for 3 different projects. 2 were whole home renovations... Soup to nuts... Systems, baths, kitchen, windows. I cannot speak highly enough about Josh Romano and his company Cobblestone Dev Group. The work came in on budget and the process was a pain free as renovation can be! Josh's eye for DESIGN and FUNCTIONALITY is so helpful. He has a wonderful sense about what the final product will look and feel like. Having someone with an artist sensibility be able to DESIGN AND IMPLEMENT the project as well as help with the overall aesthetic and all those decisions was HUGE. I can't recommend Josh Romano and Cobblestone Development Group highly enough. You will not be disappointed.”

“Since 2012, we have used Bella Casa, LLC for three projects at our home, and each one has been an amazing update to our living space! We renovated our kitchen, three bathrooms and reconfigured a small living space. In each of our projects, I had a vision of what I wanted the finished project to be. Pat listened to my ideas and walked through each space with me. In every case, she was able to make suggestions to enhance or improve the design that I had in mind --- and bring it to a beautiful completed project in a timely fashion. She is aware of the latest trends in design, she knows where to locate the products that will best fit your vision, and she is most happy to accompany you on a shopping trip or allow her to make some choices for you. “Lee and his crew built us a one of a kind automated staircase for our attic. Lee designed it from the start and it turned out amazing!!! My wife and I cannot recommend Lee enough. He was professional, punctual, easy to work with and his attitude is amazing. He loves a challenge. I would recommend Del-ray Construction to anyone without hesitation. 10 stars!!!!!!”

“Master bath/closet redesign. Relocated and redesigned master bath for better function of the room which allowed for an extremely spacious walk-in closet. Attention to detail during design and execution phases was incredible. No detail, big or small, was overlooked. Home 4 Life exceeded my expectations in the quality of work they performed often going above and beyond code requirements. “This builder is one of the best in the Greater Williamsburg area. This builder has a unique style which demonstrates building trends that last the year of time. Hertzler Brothers doesn't always build the same cookie cutter house by any means. Over the years, David Hertzler built houses with a Colonial style since the Williamsburg area expected it. Hertzler Brothers didn't stick to only Colonial, their portfolio of homes is impressive and diverse. In addition, this builder has traveled from Austrailia to the New England states to study architecture and housing styles. These interests and education are evident in each house built by this company known as Hertzler Brothers, Inc. David Hertzler's daughter, Amy has now become the backbone of this company by adding a Craftsman style with an energy efficiency by reintroducing solar panels for heating and cooling. She studied architecture at UVa. As well as architectural studies in Germany, and Switzerland. Her interest in modern and historic styles brings forth character in her work. In conclusion, Hertzler Brothers is not just a home builder. Hertzler Brothers has developed a signature building craft that showcases an art which lives on for many years. Just ask anyone who is living a Hertzler home built in the 1970's. I can tell you the comments will be that they love their home. In the early 1970s, I handed out brochures at An Open House or two for Salt Box and Colonial style for sale houses. I was ten or eleven years old back then and one of the builders' daughters. There were four brothers who started this business by the way. Although one brother continues to carry on their craft, it continues to impress buyers who appreciate fine building. I am proud to say that I sold another Hertzler home last week. I am C. “LU Pearce did a major renovation at our home on Gwynn's Island this past year. A new staircase to our second story was designed to replace a poorly situated spiral one. Ken was able to design exactly what we wanted and it came out beautifully, as if it had always been there. A coat closet (under the new stairs), powder room, and new master bath were also part of the project as well as renovation of a guest bath. Thad and the subcontractors were true professionals. They were easy to work with, patient and helpful in decision making from beginning to end. The project was completed within the estimated time frame and I was able to comfortably work with their allowances for lighting, vanities, fixtures etc. to stay on budget. We are very happy with the finished product!”

“Nina and company just finished SAVING me. I am new to the area. New home. New Job. NO TIME to unpack and sleeping on my couch for the last 3 weeks with a bed I could not put together, while being completely overwhelmed with the mountain of unpacking and arranging during my short periods at home. I could not find the time to unpack and haven't had more than two days off in the last 3 weeks either. I was just about to have a melt down, when Nina came to the rescue! She and her staff came into my home and in one day, unpacked me, arranged my home even better than I could have imagined myself. Organised my closets even BETTER than I thought she could!
