“I had about a third of my basement, about 550 sq. ft., completed using the Matrix Basement System. This r-18 rated, water proof, mold proof, mildew proof system (4' by 8' panels) was perfect for protecting my investment. They also did my drop ceiling, all electrical, hvac work and installed the three doors we added. The total process took about 4 weeks. The work crew was very professional. They worked with me in coordinating the parts of this project that I had other contractors complete and made the whole experience very enjoyable. My completed basement blends in with the rest of my house. The insulated panels keeps the humidity down and the temperatures at the same level as my upstairs level. I love it.”

“Cutting Edge designed and built our basement remodel. They started with unfinished space and re-engineered load bearing walls to open it up. We now how have a wet bar, built in TV wall and shelving, a full bath, a wine closet, and space for an air hockey table. In addition, they replaced countertops in our kitchen and replaced our master bath shower. The end result is absolutely beautiful. The workmanship is top notch. As is typical with this type of project, we had some scheduling delays and minor cost overruns, but we are very happy with the finished project.”

“Remodeled our 1970's basement and it is now beautiful living space and a fun entertaining room for watching sports, playing cards and serving craft beer and wine. Also remodeled our former Childrens Bathroom and updated the look. 56 West provided great ideas and drawings and craftmanship. I totally trust them.”

“We contracted The Johnson Group to build our cottage on a small lake. Before selecting them we spoke with numerous other builders and considered contracting it ourselves. We selected them for a number of reasons which all proved to be correct in the end. It took eight months from the time we first spoke with them until we signed a contract and they were there to assist and answer any questions through the entire time. When our discussions first started all we had was an idea from a home we had once been in and a lousy hand drawn sketch and they worked with us to bring it to fruition. As cost was important to us, they they worked with us to design something that fulfuilled our dreams and stayed within our budget. Since we have started the building process they have looked above and beyond for ways to save money and any savings they have found they have passed directly along to us. They have established relationships with suppliers that enable them to purchase quality materials at wholesale prices. This was a key factor in our decision to utilize their services rather than doing this project on our own. This isn't the first home we've built, it isn't the first contractor we've worked with, but it is truly the one we'd recommend first.”

“Excellent crew: Bath and Closet area remodel: Delivered exactly what they said as we ran into no major suprised during the remodel. Cleaned up everyday...so, no dust & dirt floating around my home. Took care not to let any pets outside. Can't say enough nice things. The original bath was shades of Olive Green tiles and tub/sink/toilet. The closet was 2 bifold doors in a walk through area to get to the bath. Did you want before photos?”
