“Work in progress but so far they have cleaned up after their day's work, on schedule with work. The work has not been completed yet so more to come when it is completed. Update: It's month 7 and while initially work went quickly, things slowed down by month 4. Still some minor fixes left. Have to revise my rosy initial review. Overall poor communication between the design specialist and the project manager.”

“Traci & Todd were very easy to work with when they bought my parents home. Their professionalism went beyond anything my sister's and I expected. It was very difficult having to sell the house where we grew up and my parents lived for 51 years till they passed away. When they finished the remodeling project they held an "Open House" for the neighborhood and our families. We thought that was a great idea and nice jester. But, what WOW'd my sister's and I, was Traci & Todd invited the three of us to a private showing of the house we grew up in and shared so many family memories throughout the years. “This wonderful family firm cannot be beat for their design, professionalism, and the warmth they bring to a home when they are working on a project. All of their work is hand crafted word work of the highest quality. They custom built my living room as well as the deck off the back of my home, and the work is absolute perfection. “We have used April Sunshine Designs for several major projects, as well as yearly maintenance. April designed and oversaw construction on a paver patio, custom cedar pergola, arbor over a grilling island, and a gas fire pit area. She also designed and installed all of the landscaping at two of our residences. We have been very pleased with the results. She is innovative, and came up with designs much better than what we had planned out ourselves. She listened to our goals and desires and turned them into a dream landscape. We also have April close the beds in the fall and open them in the spring. It is a relationship we started with her over four years ago and hope to continue for many years to come.”

“I have used this company for several major remodeling projects for my home--kitchen/laundry room/bathroom re-do, reconfigured bedrooms, new front porch roof. They only use the best sub-contractors, use quality materials, get projects done in reasonable time, and are respectful of the homeowner's property and schedule. If something isn't right, they will take care of it for you. They listen to your ideas, but also let you know when what you think you want might not be a good idea. Their competitors might charge less for some things, but this company won't cut corners just to get your business. They've been in business for 30+ years.”

“We purchased a 1957 ranch house to accommodate the current and future needs of our 14 year-old daughter with Spina Bifida. She currently walks with orthotics, but will likely progress to using a wheelchair as she grows and wants to keep up with her peers. We gutted 3 bathrooms (on slab), rerouting plumbing in 2 and creating one accessible bath. Jeff DeVol is an aging in place specialist and helped us design an open shower with a linear drain and added blocking in the walls for additional grab bars in the future. We also widened openings, installed tile flooring, and removed some closets for a more open floor plan. Adding a ventless fireplace and converting a third garage bay to a weight room allowed the home to better meet our family's needs. DeVol's team was competent and courteous. The arrived on time and consulted us on every change that occurred in the field. We ended up with only a 1% cost overage in change orders, one item a lighting change at our request.”
