Some of the finishings they completed for us included installing crown moulding and trim work throughout the basement, adding a stone facade and backsplash to our wet bar area, and installing new flooring in the bar area. Charlie and his team were great to work with and easy to talk to about any concerns we had throughout the process. They even worked with us by providing some alternate ideas so that we could accomplish our goals while staying in our budget! They finished the work in a timely manner and we LOVE our basement!”

“A few years ago, we hired Midwest Luxury Baths to remodel our master bath -- a bath that had been poorly designed with a large Jacuzzi tub, no shower, and was very outdated. We had sought other contractors to remodel the room, but none could offer a plan or a price that was satisfactory. Marcy DeShong met with us, listened to our desires, and personally redesigned the entire bath plan that would offer more open space while including a large shower, a nice whirlpool tub, and a full-sized counter with a centered sink for about half the price other contractors were quoting for much less modification. Their suggestions during the design process were amazing. They took the time to ask questions not only about what I wanted, but asked questions about how we lived....how much I cooked, how we wanted to use the space, etc. One suggestion saved me a good deal of money, as we opted to refinish some older hardwoods, staining them darker and sanding them down past a very dated bevel edge rather than installing new flooring, as I was prepared to do. Another suggestion created a more natural flow from one space to the other. I was blown away with their vision, but also, their understanding of my needs and hopes for the space. The workmanship was outstanding. I felt completely comfortable with the foreman and workers on the job, and they left the space spotless each night when they left. Even the subs were all timely, professional and talented. Their professionalism and friendliness helped to make the remodeling process a much easier one! Throughout the process, the office manager frequently checked in to ensure we were keeping on budget, to address any questions, and to ensure that my every question was answered in a timely fashion. She always made herself available, and I appreciated the transparency and participation in the process. And the final outcome has surpassed any hope I could have had for this space. Every detail was finely examined and brought to perfection. I now have a kitchen that is not only MUCH more functional for the way I cook, entertain and live, but it is absolutely magazine-beautiful!
