“We could not recommend Arkins Construction more highly! Our project included salvaging parts of our old home to re-purpose into our new house. Arkins was with us every step of the way. From their subs to their crew they were professional. hard working, courteous, timely, and enjoyable to work with. They were exceptional at communicating with us throughout the process, primarily by e-mail and often by on-site meetings. When various construction options would arise they would often illustrate the choice by a picture or diagram attached to an e-mail, which made the decision much easier for us. “Benjamin Kelley came to us highly recommended by an architect and two trusted tradesmen quite familiar with his business. Our initial meeting with Ben, and subsequent working with him, was most impressive. We have been fortunate over the years to have worked with a number of contractors in other locations with whom we had very satisfying experiences. Ben and his crew exceeded all our hopes and expectations on multiple levels. His management style and skills became immediately apparent to us. We were favorably impressed by his ability at scheduling the many facets of the project and working closely to that schedule; the skillfulness in which he selected his work crew and sub-contractors; the manner in which he conducted himself on site with workers and client; and the timeliness in which we were kept abreast of work progress and the impact of changes we requested.
