“Smart Design helped us with design and install, removing a large old gravel based driveway, and replacing with concrete. They also designed a new entryway and back patio for us. The whole process was amazing, Segev was extremely organized, responded immediately, and the finished product is better than we hoped! I highly recommend Smart Design!”

“I have used them three separate times - twice for kitchen renovations (at different apartments) and once for a living room and bedroom floor replacement. That was over the course of more than 10 years, so I am clearly very happy with their service. I'm planning to hire them again for a bathroom renovation within the next year. I find them very responsive and easy to work with. Keith, the owner, was very involved in my projects and goes out of his way to ensure that everything is up to his high standards. The subcontractors were professional and trustworthy. They showed up each day, although a few times they were late. In my view, if that is the worst experience in a renovation, you've done well. None of my projects ever exceeded budget due to any omissions on Knockout's part. and deadlines within Knockout's control were always met. I hope that helps.”

“I thought that finding an honest contractor who follows through with what they promise would be impossible but decided to take the chance with Essential and finally do my first renovation. I was very nervous at first but the contractor Peter was extremely patient and was with me every step of the way. His team which included a talented designer put together a picture perfect kitchen, powder bathroom and master bedroom bathroom. I was blown away by the attention to detail and if you’re looking for a wonderful experience limiting your stress level for such a major project then Peter and his team are a great fit.”

“We are totally happy with the results of our kitchen re-do by Berceli. We are in a NYC Classic 6 with a good-sized galley kitchen. We are that NYC rarity, in that we cook almost every night. We were perfectly content with the kitchen footprint, but it sadly needed an upgrade. The estimate we got from the project manager, Samir, was not cheap, but totally accurate. There were no surprises. The designer somehow managed to not only create a beautiful kitchen, but somehow got us a lot more storage in the same space...I still can't figure out how. Cindi helped us with the fine details as colors and backsplash, which added to the overall look. Were there glitches along the way? Of course there were, as you don't tear out a complete kitchen without having some problems. However, Berceli was immediately responsive, answering emails and calls very promptly if something didn't look right. i would hire them again without question.”

“I hierd A to Z Renovations for general renovations in my home they redid my bathroom and wood floors and base molding and painted the entire house the results looks great, but besides how it looks the customer service was the best i did not expect such level of customer service from contractors. highly recommended”

“I highly and without reservation recommend Mr. Gregory Sforza of Done Right Remodeling for any home improvement job you may require. He is talented in a variety of home improvement specialties including carpentry, installations, and demonstrates a completely accurate interpretation of a customer's ideas for a given project. He maintains a list of professionals who perform jobs within related specialties including electricians, plumbers and painters, for example. His estimates are fair, and there are no hidden costs. If extra materials are required he discusses this beforehand with the customer as the need arises so you are well-aware and may consent or decline extra materials or labor. He and his coworkers clean up the work area at the end of each day and are never " no shows", which is a common issue with other contractors I used in the past. When you've hired Done Right Remodeling you've made an educated choice.”

“Van Buren Design Build recently completed a kitchen remodel for us. We are delighted with every aspect of the process. Zak, Frank and the entire team were professional while being very approachable. They all displayed expertise in each area of the remodel from the initial design to the finish and were very organized along the way. Our kitchen turned out just as we had dreamed. Our daughter, who also used them for a kitchen remodel, recommended VBDB to us . And, we will highly recommend them to our friends.”

“George Evageliou’s Urban Homecraft has done some major projects for us and, each time, exceeded expectations. It is a joy to live and work in the beautiful spaces George created for us. The range of work done for us by Urban Homecraft is as follows: a full renovation of the kitchen; installation of built-in wine storage; design and installation of a window seat/daybed with storage; installation of built-in desks, bookshelves, and cabinets in the study; and, installation of HVAC covers. His designs cleverly incorporated a built- in mini fridge, a pull out drawer for the printer, and innovative ways to hide a jumble of TV and computer cords. George takes the time to understand the space and how the client lives in it, and most importantly, he listens. We went through many iterations of the drawings in a collaborative process as George addressed our needs. He fulfilled the “wish-list” of special features we wanted in the cabinetry. The craftsmen working for George are impressive. They brought George’s drawings to life with skill and efficiency. The projects undertaken by Urban Homecraft ran smoothly and seamlessly. We can’t believe we went through major renovations in our home with so little stress and anxiety. Although there were several players involved, we were spared the inevitable hassles because George directed everything -- from hiring a superb contractor for demolition, electrical etc., to coordinating with the granite/marble supplier, the appliance manufacturers and retailers, and even our Condo management. The work was completed on time and on budget. In addition to designing and crafting beautiful spaces , Urban Homecraft excels at making the client feel like their project is the most important one. Throughout, we felt we had George’s undivided attention. He promptly returned calls and emails and dealt with every challenge with zen like calm. In a nutshell, we are so spoiled by our experience that we cannot use an ordinary construction/design firm anymore. The pics don't do justice to the kitchen reno; they were taken on an iPhone.”

“Center Island is a professional company that delivers what it promises. My husband and I contracted them for a large project in 2010 which was completed in a timely manner, on budget, and done very well. Caleb was available every step of the way to answer questions and solve any problems that arose. The staff who worked on our project were friendly, knowledgeable, and cleaned up when they left for the day. We will definitely call Center Island for any future projects.”
