“Mack Colt build our house in 2012, closing date of Jan. 2013. He had secured an old home in an old neighborhood that was a tear down candidate. We purchased the lot from him and contracted on a custom build job similar to another house he had recently built. Mack and his team are truly experts in their field. They take steps to maintain quality standards that were beyond our level of knowledge--simply because will not put their name on anything that is not of the highest quality. They completed the project on time, on budget and went above and beyond to make the project as painless as possible.”

“Mark built our house in 2014 and we have a beautiful house, meeting all our expectations and more. We did while being out of state, through emails and pictures. It worked! The craftsmanship was outstanding. Building a house is a long sometimes challenging process and overall it went well. We had some up and down but that is totally expected for such a huge endeavor: asking a stranger to materialize the most expensive vision you ever had in your life... In the end it all worked out. He came back to fix a few things (which is normal) and we never had to pay or argue about it, he took care of it, no question, and that is special! I would totally work with him and his team again if we ever build another house. I would have no problem recommending him to my best friend or family. Great experience, great house, love living in it!”

“From start to finish the home building process couldn’t have gone better. The team at Bickimer Homes put our minds at ease as they did an excellent job walking my wife and I through each step of the way. The superintendents kept us in the loop letting us know what was happening each week. Our new home was finished on schedule and we were able to move in on time. It was definitely a fun and exciting experience. We would recommend Bickimer Homes to anyone looking for a new home in the Kansas City area!”

“Ashlar Homes built my new home and I LOVE it! Shawn, the builder listened to what we wanted and was always available. He gave us his cell number and we could always leave a message, which he promptly returned, or would immediately answer his phone. Mr. Woods was always respectful and kind, even when we asked about things we just didn't understand. Overall our building experience was very positive.”
