“We hired Nelson Builders to fix our entryway that our original home builder had built incorrectly. During the rehab project Matt Nelson personally assisted with the project. His knowledge and skill for understanding framing, electrical, finishing, and attention to detail impressed my husband and I. It is rare to find a builder who truly knows how to build quality, well-designed homes. I cannot speak highly enough about our positive experience. I only wish we would have found him sooner, we would have loved for him to have designed and built our entire home. Nelson Builders are different than any other builder because they don't skip on quality and there truly is such close attention to detail. They were able fix and transform our home into what we always wanted. We are so thankful for Matt's help in fixing our entryway! I've included a Before & After picture so you can see the great work by Nelson Builders.”

“This is the third house we have built and it was by far the smoothest process! Great quality for the money. Everyone was friendly, courteous, punctual. Whenever we had a question, we got a response almost immediately. We have been in the house a couple of months now, and with every new built there will always be some things that have to be tweaked, so far they were fairly minor, but I feel lucky that they have a great 'after-care' program. Over all I would have to say our experience was very positive!”

“I can't say enough nice things about working with Jeff and his wife Kelly on making our dream home a reality. We were very reluctant to build from scratch because we had good friends that went with a larger builder in Champaign that just kept passing them off to different crew foremen throughout the whole process. They actually never met the real owner. I appreciated the fact that we only had to deal with Jeff from beginning to end. He made the building process fun and very rewarding and Kelly was a huge help when it came to picking out fixtures, countertops and paint that brings it all together. It is obvious that they both have a great eye for details. Thanks again for listening to our wants and needs and we look forward to working with you on our next home.”

“Mr. Oleson is a general contractor who builds homes as well as basic remodeling. However, for this project I asked him to develop his landscaping construction skills. He build a set of forms for espaliered trees to be grown on, this increasing the fruit production and sun exposure of the trees that are trained to grow on the forms. He was able to put up a trellis for four trees, set in concrete and with steel tension wire, so that it would last a lifetime. I am a Master Gardener and have always wanted to espalier fruit trees. You can see the photo of the trellis that Oleson Construction put up in my yard for me. I will be so excited when spring arrives and my new trees bud out. I recommend this business, not only for home building and remodeling, but also for an any unusual project that may come up for you. Sincerely, J.L. Prill”
