“We had never built was a custom home builder before building with Matisse Homes so we didn't know what to expect - in the end to go with Kelvin was the best decision we made. He was so easy to work with, he was there to help with all of our decision making, he was always on the job site ensuring things were running smoothly and in a timely fashion. There were no surprises in costs and we knew what we were getting from the beginning of the process. At a time where our friends were building with a custom home builder and having all sorts of problems, budget overages and a 2 year build, from digging the hole in the ground to move in for us was 9 months! He had a great relationship with all of his trades people and they also were very respectful and easy to deal with. We have been in our home for 4.5 years and we still walk into our house and feel the same way we did the first time we saw it complete - and we still say that if we do it one more time, we'll be calling Kelvin.”

“Porch Light Fine Homes renovated our main floor area which was transformed into a beautiful, functional family living space that we enjoy everyday with a major kitchen renovation. We did most of the demolition ourselves to save cost. All new hardwood throughout, new cabinets, counter tops and paint. We also had our built-ins in family room painted which look absolutely amazing! We removed a corner pantry and added an organized pantry with tons of storage space. Expanded our small island to a beautiful "T" shaped island that the family uses as our gathering area. A big part of our renovation success is attributed to Jake's knowledge, professionalism, dependability and honesty in every phase of the transformation and also the quality and integrity of the trades that were involved in our project. Our project came in on time and budget. We would recommend Jake and Porch Light Fines Homes with any building project, big or small! Thank you Jake! The Dawson Family”

I found them to be very hands on with the build and were always available to answer any questions and meet me at the house when needed. The trades were very respectful when it came to working on site which I really appreciated for the neighbour's sake.”
