“Don is very professional and knowledgable in all aspects of design, construction and remodeling. He does high quality work and meets deadlines and budgets. He built a deck and an addition to my mother's house in Stamford, CT, over 20 years ago, which not only increased the living room size but also gave the room so much more light. His great work allowed us to sell the house at a good price when my mother passed. I highly recommend his work.”

“John started working with A Direct back in 2004! [woah! 10 years flew right by]. John is a fantastic carpenter, as well as a great person. From a customer's point of view, they always remark on how knowledgeable and patient he is. He truly takes pride in his work, and is very thorough from design to install on each job. We only recommend a handful of contractors to walk-in retail customers, and John/Colours Construction is definitely one of them.”

“Keith and his team redid the outside of our 1916 Craftsman home. The workmanship was outstanding and Keith suggested many details that enhanced the house and restored it to its true craftsman beauty. The work was done on time and on budget. Keith is an excellent contractor to work with -- he totally got what we were trying to achieve and worked patiently with us to pick out the right materials and colors. The work included new cedar shingles, new window frames, new braces and woodwork, and new roof. Would definitely use Keith again.”

“We hired Rocco to build our modern style house in WHB. We found him to be a perfectionist and honest and felt the whole time he had our best interest in mind. He was thoughtful and creative and understood we were building a house to live in, not just frame for a picture. We are very happy with the work he did, and he remains readily available to us 3 years after the completion as things come up in due course.”
