“I am writing this unqualified recommendation on behalf of Mont Hartman, with whom my wife and I have worked closely over the past year on what became a major residential renovation project in Sarasota, FL. Mont Hartman assumed the role of Project Manager soon after we designed and contracted for what was then planned to be a limited condominium remodel. Mont brought himself “up to speed” quickly and then reached out to us to meet and refine our goals and the scope of our project. Throughout our renovation Mont was responsive, respectful and creative. His vision, team leadership, broad range of knowledge in all areas of our project (design, permitting, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, counters, tile, flooring, painting, electronics, etc.) and problem-solving skills were the critical factors that have led to a wonderful outcome with which we are very pleased. As is often the case, our project changed and expanded as we proceeded. Mont handled these modifications smoothly and efficiently and with good humor. Mont also needed to deal with some unusual additional challenges. The project was undertaken in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic with resultant difficulties in coordination and supervision of subcontractors, supply chain disruptions and safety concerns. In addition, the bulk of this renovation was undertaken remotely, since our primary residence during this project was in NYC. Nevertheless, Mont was able to keep us well-informed and involved on all aspects of the project with his regular texts, detailed emails, pictures and FaceTime calls. “We have just completed the design and selection phases for the construction of our new home and have just broken ground on the build on 8/31/15. We couldn't be more please thus far with our experience with BW Homes. They are a semi-custom builder and we've made significant changes to the home's facade, redesigned the master bathroom, did major changes to the the kitchen layout, are changed the location of the entrance to a bedroom so that it can be turned into a suite simply by closing a pocket door. The president of the company is responsible for the redesign of the facade working with us to give us a design with which we are extremely pleased. The onsite agent has been extremely helpful and generous with her time, staying very late one evening so we could get a good idea of the standard lighting in the home to determine what we needed to add. But most of all, the person in charge of the designing and selection of materials has been simply outstanding, We spent many hours at the design studio, that tuned into 5 total days of her time, which included her coming in and doing a full day of design help with us on a Sunday to accommodate our schedules. Thus far, everyone in the office has been extremely friendly, courteous, respectful, and eager to help and answer any and all of our questions. These folks have set the bar very high for the project manager and site construction manger to follow suite and feel they will carry on to the same standards that we've experienced till now.”

“Sun Bay builders did a major remodel to our home in St Petersburg, FL. This included expanding our kitchen, adding a new bathroom and remodeling two others. They enclosed our porch and we now have a wonderful area to entertain outside. We worked closely with them to have tile choices, paint colors, bathroom fixtures, lighting, and new appliances selected and delivered to keep the project moving forward. They answered all of our questions and concerns . They were very reliable and consummate professionals.”

“My husband and I had been in our home for 28 years and after he retired from the Fire Dept. we decided downsize. We had been looking for a smaller home - an existing home that we could do a few things to but just couldn't seem to find anything. Then one day we stumbled across an empty lot and we took a leap of faith. We knew Todd Feldman of HE Feldman & Son as he'd built our last home. i found a picture of a house I'd found on The Internet - just a picture and I gave it to him and the proverbial ball started rolling. We had a list of wants and would likes and we were never told no. In fact he had lots of wonderful ideas! We ended up with around 2100 feet of living space that includes 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath and pantry and laundry room. On the first floor my husband has the garage of his dreams with a workshop. And true to Todd's word our house isn't just a house it's a home and we can't thank him and his crew enough for all their hard work, You want words? How do you describe a dream home? Because that's truly what we ended up in and so much more! We constantly have people in the neighborhood stop by when we're outside and give us compliments and tell us they enjoyed watching our house go up and how wonderful it turned out.
