“McKay Vassar performed ab outstanding job in adding to our existing home. It was an additional of considerable space, and the personnel involved were knowledgeable and professional in all contacts. The subcontractors were all excellent, as well. This work was performed in 2015, and we are still happy with it. We were consulted every step of the way, so we were aware of all expenses as we went along. We could not have asked for better communication, service and construction.”

“Blue Horse Building is a thoughtful, detail-oriented, and well-managed construction company that we were happy to have worked with. So happy that we've already teamed up with them again for our next project. They truly embody a team effort and mentality that strengthens the architect-contractor relationship. This project was new construction restrained by a dramatic site as the house sat at the edge of a bluff overlooking the lake. Our team fought for every inch of the footprint to provide a fully programmed house, and throughout the process, Blue Horse Building offered tactful suggestions that met our design aesthetic. “The Katz Builders team is very professional. We have worked on dozens of projects together over a span of over 25 years (my firm draws the plans and Katz does the construction) and every one of my clients who has used Katz for the construction project has been very pleased with quality, professionalism and service. The level of personal attention and care they provide is unparalleled. In one remodel, for instance, they painstakingly removed the original wood casing from doors and reinstalled it after the remodel was finished. Their tile installer did my own floors and I was extremely impressed with how carefully he and his lead installer planned the layout to make sure that the tile was centered on several different axes as well as ensuring no small slivers of tile at edges and other subtle things I would never have noticed had they done it incorrectly. If something "doesn't seem right" about plans we have provided, the Katz team always call to make sure they get it right rather than "winging it" in the field risking misinterpretation of our intent. They have used many of the same sub-contractors the entire time I have known them which means to me that they have loyal sub-contractors and you will get consistent and high quality results from them. And, once again, I want to mention that in all these years I have not once had a homeowner come back to me and complain about them as their builder. That is very rare in this business.”

“My husband and I are still in the design stage for our new home that we are building in the Barton Creek area of Austin, Texas, but already Gery Wilde has impressed us tremendously. We are new to the Austin area, so Gery walked several lots with us and helped us to choose one that is going to be a perfect fit. He's taken us to see gorgeous, high-quality homes that he has built, or is building, to help us to get a feel for room sizes, finishes and layout. He LISTENS to us....and also lends us good advice regarding building trends and items to pay attention to for resale value. He has sat in on most of the meetings with our architect, Chuck Krueger, and the two work together amazingly well. We can't wait to break ground and see the realization of our "Dream Home"and we are thrilled that Gery Wilde is our builder!”
