“Scott Koenig and his team helped us remodel our 1980's home in Kiawah Island, SC. We couldn't be happier with the experience of working with them and the outcome. Scott is a hard-worker, knows all the ins and outs of construction, never complains with a change, pushes the envelope with meeting timelines, his accounting and estimates are spot on and he only hires the best sub-contractors. Scott approached our home as if it was his own. We managed the project remotely and Scott installed cameras in the home so we could monitor progress. He uses a project management software that makes overall project progress, photos, selections, and communication so easy. All of the work from the big items to small details were completed beautifully. Scott has a project manager, Debra, who is involved with every decision. She is the liaison between all the selections clients make (with or without a decorator) and making sure every detail is noted and no communication is lost, every deadline is met, etc. The process that Scott uses is perfection. His quality to detail is noted. His passion for building or remodeling your home is evident. We couldn't recommend Koenig Homes more for your project.”

“Jeff built our dream house 6 years ago. He not only built a great house from the start but has stuck by his work. Suiter Construction used only top-rate materials throughout. His subcontractors are some of the best in the industry. Jeff's is extremely competent in the intricate details of building a house, inside and out, and takes time to do it right. We have been thoroughly pleased with all facets of the house. We recommend Jeff without any reservations whatsoever. You will be pleased with the outcome.”

“When I chose Saltwater Homes to build my home, it was the best decision I made. From the time I signed the contract until the closing, I was a daily part of the decision making process. Lane Baker, owner of Saltwater Homes went through every detail from start to finish. It is an elevated Louisiana Plantation style house with 32" overhangs with each of the dove tails hand-crafted. The Project Manager and all of the subcontractors hired for the job were professional, friendly, and their work was impeccable. I felt as if I were a part of the team. Allowances were given for cabinets, countertops, fixtures, appliances, and bathroom tubs, sinks, etc. The amounts allotted were very satisfactory. The building process was the most fun I have had. Everything went as planned and if it didn't, we just monitored and adjusted to fit the schedule. When the house was completed I came in $600.00 over budget and the builder called it a wash. Most things you here about builders aren't good. Everything you do is an up charge. Not so with Saltwater Homes. They have won two Prism awards for houses in a certain price point, the Crowley and the Bearden Residence in 2012, and three homes in 2013. The most prestigious award that was given by the Charleston Builder's Association was for "The Best Customer Service." That says it all. If you are thinking about building a home, think about Saltwater Homes.”

“We purchased a 1,740 sq. ft. condo (built in 1988) and hired James Gardner Construction (highly recommended by our realtor) to completely upgrade the place...new HVAC, new gas fireplace, all new hardware floors, tile flooring in bathrooms and utility space, new bathroom toilets and vanities, washer and dryer, kitchen appliances, marble counter tops throughout kitchen and 3 bathrooms, lighting, master bedroom shower, walk-in closet including centered island, plantation shutters, window box seats and storage area, barn door, converted foyer coat closet to "mud room" style with bench, hangers and shelf, added french doors between kitchen and hallway as well as walk-in closet, and painted the entire place. James Gardner Construction provided a project plan within our budget and were very flexible and easy to work with when it came to changes. Not only were they pleasant to work with, they were very accessible and responsive. We could only provide 4 photos, but wish we could share more. James Gardner Construction provided superb quality and a great value for their services. We provide the highest recommendation for James Gardner Construction”
