“Prior to contracting Will Construction, my wife and I were working with another architect/builder in the area. We experienced continuous delays and lack of response on their part. Luckily we also contacted Kurt Will during our one of our trips to Bayfield, CO. Kurt kept in contact with us on a regular basis and offered suggestions regarding resolving our problems with the other company. We're glad he did. It saved us a good amount of money. We asked Kurt for a listing of references for his previous jobs, as we were starting to entertain contracting a new builder. Once we went through his reference list, the matter was settled. All of the references had glowing comments about his work. Even the materials suppliers have indicated a healthy respect for his company. He knows our budget and has made recommendations to meet it. In June 2013, we broke ground for our retirement home. Kurt provides us with regular updates and photographs of the project construction. So far, Will Construction gets 5 Stars from us.”

“Kevin Skelly built my house 8 years ago. It was such a terrific experience that we have remained friendly ever since. It is a modern house with clean lines that demanded care and perfect angles. He and his crew were as demanding that it be right as we were. The house sits on a very difficult site in the mountains without a lot of room to maneuver, yet it went well and with the exception of some weather delays had a timely completion. We had an expert come in at the framing stage to make sure everything was OK and Kevin was highly complimented for his work and he made the small adjustments recommended happily. Kevin and the architect worked as a team, which saved a lot of money and stress and time. Any changes needed were much simpler and instead of reams of working drawings, they were so used to working together that it went without any problems at all.”

“We hired Monica to build our home in Durango while we lived full time out of state. The entire project from start to finish went smoothly, communication was clear and consistent, we received daily updates and photos of progress, design suggestions and modifications made along the way enabled us to make the best possible use of the space. Her crew is professional, dedicated, clean, produces excellent quality and detail oriented. Monica is extremely budget conscious, regularly making suggestions to reduce costs and allowed me to make agreed upon purchases when I found something unique to add to our home. Our tastes aligned so it was easy to trust her recommendations for finishes as well. She went above and beyond to make this experience something far above expectations. We trusted her every step of the way and even gave her signed books of our checks to use along the way. “We originally hired Cale because of his enthusiasm, honesty and familiarity with the neighborhood. We were not disappointed. He completed the build of our new home on time handling the myriad of details that we were unaware of and unprepared for. Cale never dictated our design choices but he also never let us make a serious mistake. We used Houzz frequently and would send ideas and photos to Cale and he and his crew would make it happen. “Rick Baxter did excellent work with new construction on our home (a finished modular set on an unfinished basement). Rick finished out the basement, stairs and bathroom, and also built our garage and a connecting breezeway. He completed our deck, covered it and added a small gazebo. He remodeled the front gable. He applied stucco to the exterior basement wall. He is completely knowledgeable about county codes and his work is trusted and highly respected by county inspectors because he does things right and he does them well. He is personable, hard working and easy to work with. We give him the highest recommendation possible.”
