“I've been working with jeff for 9 years. It's been quite amazing to watch his expertise grow to extraordinary lengths. He seems to specialize on whatever he does. What I mean by this is that he aspires to be the best at whatever he does. I've been forwarding him into friends family and clients. I always know they when I refer him that he will always operate on high moral standards, something that is so rare this day in age. He's old school, back when a handshake was stronger than a contract and your word meant something of honor. I love working with him because he takes hard tasks and makes them fun and full of learning. If there is someone who has questions he loves to help teach you the whys and what ifs. He is is exceptional at planning and always seems to be 5 steps ahead. I've seen some pretty beautiful projects. From large land developments down to throwing on doors to help a client. “My latest project involved renovating the entire main floor of my town home, from installing hardwood throughout, building in new cabinetry, replacing the kitchen countertop, painting, rebuilding the fireplace surround and more. Peter Lapres does not settle for 'good enough'. All of his subcontractors are high quality and he oversees all aspects of the work in progress. He either came by every day to monitor work progress and discuss or he would call me. I was never left wondering what was going on. Any concern I had was addressed immediately. What particularly impressed me was that he made sure that my home was swept up every day during particularly dusty operations like removing floor tile since I was still living there during the reno. He went out of his way to minimize the mess. As the project winds up he checks to make sure that I am happy with the quality of work done for each element. If I had a concern with anything he immediately arranged for the subcontractor to make the necessary changes or even did them himself when possible. I will be using Lapres Homes for future work. You can't argue with high quality work and a contractor who takes pride in his work.”

“I have used Eric of Oslo Creations for a couple of projects. One was to convert part of my house into a separate rental space. He is such a perfectionist, he thinks quickly and is a real problem solver. There are so many challenges with renovating an old house but it never phased him. I would post photos but have since moved. I was so pleased to find him on Houzz to use him in my new house. Honestly could not recommend him more highly.”

“Square One Contracting did a repair to an exterior chimney that had extensive water damage including rot in the siding and substrate. The work was performed to an excellent standard, within the estimated time and budget. The crew were polite and thoughtful. I would not hesitate to recommend them.”
