“We have so much to say about our experience with Windward Construction, especially after hearing from friends about their experiences with other local builders. We had been warned to watch out for cost-cutting and corner-cutting, for delays, and for lots of problems. I am so happy to say that our experience couldn’t have been more different. We “interviewed” many other building companies, but from the moment we met with our team, we felt comfortable and excited about the process of building our dream home. We met initially with the sales team, Cynthia and Michelle, who showed us the options offered by Windward at the various price points. We had very specific hopes and ideas for our home, so they helped us find the floor plan that best suited our needs, and then the design team of Michelle and Jennifer (along with Brian, the owner), helped us “tweak” the plans, giving us our dream home! The team was super-conscious about keeping us in budget, and they helped us make choices that balanced design and value, but still made sure we got what we wanted and were satisfied with our plans before breaking ground. When we were ready to build, David (our project manager) gave us frequent updates both in-person on the job site and via a convenient app. The team shepherded us through meetings with various contractors, allowing us to customize our tile, pool design, cabinetry, etc down to the smallest detail. As always happens, we hit some unanticipated snags, but the Windward Team handled each hiccup with grace and respect for our time and money. The finished product is everything we asked for: quality design, solid construction with attention to detail, and incredible value. We’ve been in our new home for about a month now, and we couldn’t be happier. It is everything we wanted, and MORE!”
