The Speaking Homes story began in 2014, when founder Tulika Kumar launched a blog to share her ideas about decorating a house, with the world. the intention was to help people set up a cozy and welcoming space for themselves in a rented or an owned house. Something they would want to come back to after a tiring day at work, a place where they would like to spend their time with their friends and family. Something that could be simple to do, easy to achieve and to maintain. The background was set as her husband's work led her to different cities, and with new experiences came one more thing - a new house. a new house like a blank canvas or a page waiting for its picture! With new houses, new layouts, new challenges, same old furniture and an inclination for interior decoration, she gained enough confidence to share her experience with the world. Conversations with friends and compliments for her skill gave the inspiration to apply her ideas to those houses where people were seeking to improve, organise and decorate their homes.
