“From start to finish, Chris was a professional. He was prompt and responsive. We started by looking through color palettes to choose the correct color for the exterior of my house. After figuring out the color scheme for the house, he thoroughly explained what was to be done as well as time frame and cost. Chris was able to be there the next day to start prepping the home for paint. He power washed the house and carefully taped it off. The painting was done quickly and with great care. when he was finished, we inspected the job as well as the work site to see if anything needed to be touched up. It didn't. After he was assured that I was satisfied with the work, Chris cleaned up any remaining areas of the site. I had some rooms that needed to be painted and Chris was able to give me n estimate on the spot and start the work within a couple of days. He used the same care and professionalism that I had come to expect for Woodco. I could not be happier with the way my home turned out, and have referred him to many friends looking for quality work. It is refreshing to know that there are still people who take pride in their work.”

“I've admired Jamie Story's work for some time and when my husband and I decided we needed to have some wall decor that was a little more mature than framed posters, we found this glorious masterpiece by Jamie Story...It was fate that we got it, and I still find lovely new details to wonder about every time I look at this painting. I love that it's painted on a panel of Ampersand Encausticbord which gives it an interesting texture and enhances the iridescent "micro-pigment" ink and acrylic paint. Story's technique with these paints and inks combined on the wood panel creates these cool, tentacle-like clusters of color. The finished piece is truly amazing and gazing at it has become somewhat of a spiritual practice (however corny that may sound, it's true). It has so many dimensions, so much power in each rich layer of color, it provides me with a meditative-type of refuge. I am surprised (yet honored) that mine is the first review for Jamie Story's Fine Art Paintings and I highly recommend her work for anyone who feels compelled to display really beautiful art in their home (or office) that will invite the onlooker to connect with a beautifully hypnotic piece of art. Each time a new visitor sees our painting they compliment and ask about it. I am happy to have something so magical lighting up my bedroom.
