“John and Kim recently rescued the Sikkens stain finish on our three mahogany garage doors. The prior re-coat of the doors had failed in many areas requiring days of carefully scraping and lightly sanding the failed layer while minimizing damage to the original coats that were in good shape prior to applying several finish coats. The doors turned out great. When I posted the job on CL I said I was looking for an artisanal painter knowing that the job was beyond 99% of the contractors out there and I was unsure that I’d find the right folks. Boy did we find the right folks!!! Ask to see photos of the painting, gilding, stenciling, plaster repairs and more that they have done in church/basilica restoration projects. THEIR WORK PRODUCT IS AMAZING. There are not enough stars here to appropriately rate McClendon Decorative Arts.”

“I had my living room with a high ceiling painted along with a bathroom with a high ceiling as well. The job was very professional. They completed two coats and the walls look great. I am very pleased. They were in and out the same day. I only had to wait one week from the time of the estimate and the completion of the job.”

“I’ve had my my house rented out for several years. We are moving back and we came home to discover that our ex-property manager had been touching up paint with stuff that didn’t quite match. Add to that grime and spills left by the most recent tenants, the whole house needed a fresh coat of paint. Mark took care of me. He got to work immediately and the whole job took less than a week. This is a 3000 sq foot house. The quality of the work was top notch. Would definitely recommend.”
