“Tom Flach, our architect at Kohlmark, 100% understood what we wanted in our new home. But he didn’t stop there, he made the plans better than we even knew were possible. Tom was always available to answer our questions and to help us with any decisions or issues that arose. His skill, his vision, his guidance, and integrity made this experience a lot easier for us.”

“I engaged Ashish of “RARA Designz” as designer for home improvement for small area extension in one corner to build prayer/Pooja room. Prior to his site visit, I had a plan in my mind to extend the area in both levels, ground and upper floors. His guidance and recommendation in the very first interaction, using the cost versus usable benefit approach, helped me to decide to go with only ground level improvement. This simple decision had a huge positive impact on right scoping of the project. During the course of detailing of drawings, his providing the drawings as options analysis helped me make choices for specific situations. He provided service in a timely manner, setting the expectations upfront. He provided statement of work, and transparent pricing based on expected hours of work. Overall, I am happy and satisfied to have contracted “RARA Designz” for home improvement design service.”

“Clites Architects designed a multi-story garage to be added to my 30 year old home. Impeccable attention to detail allowed this addition to my property to be fully integrated into the existing environment. The landscaping was barely finished when friends commented that it appears as though it was part of the original home.”

“Kevin designed and oversaw the construction of a private residence for me. The home was in excess of 7,000 sq ft, had a slate roof, stone exterior, geothermal HVAC, custom cabinetry and millwork and an extensive array or electronic and electrical installations. Kevin was a "treasure" to work with. All parties including specialty design engineers, the general contractor, various sub-contractors, local and state approval authorities and, of course, the owner found Kevin exceedingly professional, competent and a great communicator. The finished home was a true visual and functional joy!!”

“Working with Ben Robbins (and the entire team at Pillar & Perch) has truly been a wonderful experience. Throughout our project to design and build a new home for us, they have consistently been knowledgeable, professional, and are a pleasure to work with. After listening to what we wanted and looking at our lot, Ben’s first design was nearly spot on (we only tweaked a few very minor things). That was impressive! Then, throughout the build process, they have gone out of their way to please us and ensure that we’re happy. Ben is very responsive and keeps us informed as to what is going on, and has even found us some ways to save money without sacrificing from the architectural integrity of the project. I highly recommend this company, and would use them again in a heartbeat.”

“We used J Tucker for a major addition to our house. He did a fantastic job with us and with our builder. We couldn't be more pleased with the results--when we built and now, ten years later.”

“Anthony designed our "Green" house, to include geothermal heating, air conditioning, and hydronic radiant floor heat; all natural materials including reclaimed wood, all wood custom cabinets, stone/concrete floors, all-wood interior trim, cedar/stone/cement board exterior; all low/no VOC products; energy efficient casement windows; custom built vanities and other features; and attic design/rough-ins for future living space. Anthony was completely involved, provided oversight, and intervened when necessary, in every phase of the project, from design to building to punch list to warranty work. His knowledge and expertise resulted in a National Green Building Standard (NGBS) "Silver" rating, and his involvement and personalized service exceeded our expectations. You won't find anyone in the building industry more dependable and easier to with; he's like an island in shark infested waters.”

“We had Mr. Tucker design a ground floor master suite addition of about 800 sq. ft. to our about 1800 sq. ft. 2 story abode comprised of a large walk in closet, a commodious master bath, and a large bedroom with integral sitting area. The addition of a hall way to connect the addition to the balance of the house had the beneficial effect of adding a breakfast "nook" to our previously renovated kitchen and a third informal "owner's" entrance to the house. One of the important design goals was to preserve my wife's ability to observe and enjoy the park like back yard/garden and the birds therein from the kitchen and the bedroom. Another goal was that the addition not appear to be just a box stuck onto the side of the existing house. The main design criteria was to provide a ground floor living environment so we can maintain our independent living arrangement to the end. Bill's design hit he mark on all accounts and we are thoroughly satisfied with it and quite comfortable in it. The neighbors and drive bys have all been quite complementary, also.”
