“We wanted to make more space in our house and make the space we had more liveable in. Although our house was quite traditional we wanted to modernise it too. We also wanted help with designing the outdoor space. David was really creative and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. He had great practical advice in relation to the kitchen and dealt effectively with any build or installation issues that arose. We had not used an architect before but found David's input to be invaluable. I would highly recommend David Cullen for his thoroughness, attention to detail, creativity and fantastastic, practical design ideas.”

“People say that building a house is one of the most stressful things you can do and they were not wrong. We 'survived' our house build and now we can safely say that Emmett and Fingal Planning consultants was one of the very few people that gave us consistent and sound advice/service. Our build was very complicated due to many factors, but chiefly the type of the house, a low-energy "passive house"-style, the location and having several contractors involved posed the greatest challenges. Emmett guided us through the process in his trademark no-nonsense approach and we were very lucky to have him when trying to manage all the stakeholders that a build inevitably has, like authorities, contractors, neighbours and so on. During the rough patches of the project, he always stuck by his word and actually did more than he originally signed up for. When Emmett says he will do something he does it; he is open, honest, and little ruffles his feathers - a much needed attribute when emotions are high and money is low! “David Moran is thoroughly professional and will only advise you in an honest transparent way. I found this architect to be highly knowledgeable and he takes whatever time is needed to explain things to me, the client. He never rushed me and that meant I always had time to ask as many questions as needed. He is reliable and trustworthy. He has not only helped me but also 2 other friends of mine who were needing the same work done as me. “Peter designed a new kitchen extension on our Victorian House in Dublin 8 in 2016. We found Peter to be an excellent listener to our needs as we had a tight budget. The design that Peter came up was fantastic as it gave us so much light, a bigger back yard, along with making the house feel more complete. Peter did the full set of drawings for the builder and did several site visits and made any mods that we needed as the build went on. We are a family with 3 kids and the difference the extension has made to how the house looks and feels is astonishing. I would highly recommend Peter to anyone who is considering work to their house. “Sarah did the most incredible job for us with our reconfiguring of the back rooms downstairs in our house, including knocking down walls, putting in new windows and doors, and changing the use of several rooms. She was very patient as she took us through the ideas and planning stages, helping us understand the decisions that needed to be made and guided us through the planning process smoothly. She totally understood what we were aiming for and was enthusiastic about the work. The end result is one we are delighted with - it is an easy space to live in and we love how it looks. I’d hugely recommend Sarah for anyone looking for an architect.”

“I took proud ownership of my new extension to my house this morning and would like to thank JEA for putting up with all my questions and changes I made throughout the project. Their patience and service is top quality and the finished product far exceeds my original ideas. I would thoroughly recommend them for any project or new build you have in mind as their expertise and knowledge is second to none and they have great contacts in the building trade. If I ever decide to build a new build or extend again onto my current house I will be using these guys.”
