From start to finish, Sam was super pleasant to work with, and went above and beyond to insure that we were happy with our project. Sam was a great listener and communicator and incorporated all of our wishes into her design, while introducing us to new innovative ideas. “My husband and I are very happy we chose Stoltzfus Drafting and Design. After our initial meeting, we received a very detailed proposal for our kitchen remodel. There were no hidden costs. He assigned a project website that allowed us to provide input, upload product changes and document all elements of the renovation. We found Mel to be very flexible and accommodating throughout the process. He made absolutely sure that we were pleased with every aspect of the project. We did a lot of research on our product selections, and even made several changes which he did not mind. “We began working with Ted Strosser and Jason Clapp 5 years ago, working at our (slower) pace on the development of a program, design and construction plan for our home. Because we were living in another state, they helped us evaluate alternate builders and oversaw the (Gray Builders) contracting and construction process throughout the build. They were effective working with us virtually and at well-organized, face-to-face monthly meetings. Through the process, Ted and Jason were effective listeners, eliciting the real needs behind all of our Pinterest and HGTV ideas! Both were easygoing and quietly confident, which was particularly reassuring to first-time builders. They brought architectural expertise and their own experiences from residential, conservation and commercial work and materials. This translated into a highly functional and aesthetically appealing design. Ours is a one-of-a-kind home which consistently prompts compliments from those who see it. “Michelle has done MANY jobs for me over the last 8 years. I am a landlord with multiple apartments so these include: 2 full kitchen renovations and 3 kitchen "refreshes", bathroom renovations, drawing up plans and many different general home improvements. I keep hiring her because her design ideas are great, she is cost conscious about materials, is on-time, on budget and a great communicator about the project while it is happening. One of the things I like most about her work is that she has a great personal design sense. I don't have a problem trusting her to make choices - colors, materials, hardware - on her own and I always like the result. I recommend her without reservation for any project. (The pictures aren't great, but in one she installed a marble kitchen counter top and the other is a full kitchen renovation)”
