“John Ballack was the primary architect on our highly contemporary house design on a trapezoidal shaped lot in an urban area of Chicago. John’s creativity and dedication to our project were exemplary. John’s calm demeanor yet forceful problem solving abilities proved instrumental in effecting a very successful result through often demanding external circumstances. In addition to the technical aspects of the project, John is extraordinarily easy to work with on everything from broad architectural concepts to the minute design details, from drawing through execution of construction. I would hire John Ballack again without hesitation knowing that architectural success would be the outcome.”

“was lucky to have had Mike recommended when I was talking about my wish to add a master suite with a friend. After an initial meeting about my wishes, he presented several different designs. They were all beautiful and I really appreciated Mike's eye for detail. After choosing and tweaking a design together, we got to work. Mike went above and beyond by personally helping me select components for the new bathroom. He was always available for questions and concerns I had throughout the construction process. He often came out to the site to check that the construction was being done to his satisfaction. The end result is the master suite I dreamed of!”

“It was a pleasure to work with Majdi as the architect on our new fitness studio. He went above and beyond to make sure plans were submitted for a very challenging city & county permit process and spent extra time dealing with our local mechanical resources that were being very difficult to work with. He made trips to Colorado on his own dime to see the construction in progress. We hope that we get to build another studio someday and work with Majdi again.”

“We have worked with MGLM on a number of projects over the last few years and two things stand out about this firm: 1) MGLM is one highly engaged firm. The principals of the firm are very much hands on and have a true love of their profession. They set very high standards in all aspects of their work 2) Their breadth of knowledge is quite impressive. We have worked with this firm on primarily Traditional Projects but their knowledge and enthusiasm spans a wide range of styles and periods. “Aetheric studio redesigned two 1970 style bathrooms and turned them into beautiful, light filled rooms. The architect demonstrated knowledge and ability to update spaces within a limited budget. She responded to my concerns and was flexible when unexpected old house issues surfaced. Aetheric Studio provided contractors with detailed plans and instructions , and kept costs down by suggesting and ordering many of the items needed to complete the renovation (shower heads, tile, cabinets, etc.) Working with a female professional was great! She listened to concerns and made communication a priority. This is an architectural firm with very talented professionals. Hire them and you'll be glad you did!”
