“I am very pleased with the design and building prints developed by Cornerstone . I sketched my thoughts on a paper and Darryl was able to translate it into floor plans for our new home which is a post and beam frame with bailed straw forming the outer walls. Darryl was able to accommodate my unusual requests for a straw bail build and the forty five degree pitch on the roof to support solar panels . If I were to build again I would not hesitate to use his services again.”

“Working with Heather was a pleasure. She was attentive to our needs and developed strategies that made the design, construction and process easier. Our contractor said he had never worked with a better set of drawings! As a designer myself, I always find that there are things I wish I had done differently as soon as a project in my own space is complete. However, this was not the case after working with Heather. We are so happy with the end result. We were fortunate that our work was done pre-pandemic. Having the extra space was essential.”

“Craig and I have worked together on many projects. I first hired him in 2012 to work with me on the design of my family’s laneway house in Toronto’s Leslieville neighbourhood. We rebuilt an existing, illegally converted garage apartment, including adding a second floor addition to the structure. Throughout this process, Craig was very professional and patient and his ideas and insight proved valuable in navigating the design and approval process, which was challenging to say the least. Since completing my first house with Craig, I have hired him for my family’s next house. He has been great to work with, and I strongly recommend reaching out to him if you are planning on undertaking a substantial renovation or building a custom home.”
