“He's an excellent architect with a love of innovative materials and beautiful space. As a builder I appreciated his respect for budgets and ability to navigate the city's permitting process. We have worked together on a few projects now and hopefully many more in years to come.”
Stone and Pine Inc.

Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars3 August 2017
“Brian Miller designed our main and guest boathouses on the St Lawrence river to have sweeping views of the river from every room in the house. Our timber roof tower room is spectacular with morning sunrises and views of the river from every angle. Logs End thick cut pine floors cover every room. Brian's design creativity and depth of knowledge of materials and design is apparent in the magnificent structure that our large family has extensively enjoyed for years!”
Christopher Wallace Architect
Eco Homes in Port Hope.
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars12 December 2015
“Chris has been a saviour. I have a 1930's house with a 1980's addition that didn't work at all. He walked around the house and sat down with me to find out what I wanted to use the addition for. He drew up 2 plans for me addressing my concerns and then went back to fine tune them so that I could have exactly what I need. He made wonderful suggestions and pointed out several things that I had not thought of at all. Hiring Chris was a brilliant start to my renovation and I'm confident that as I move ahead, the small cost in this first step will ensure that the large cost of the renovation will be a solid investment in my house.”

“I am very pleased with the design and building prints developed by Cornerstone . I sketched my thoughts on a paper and Darryl was able to translate it into floor plans for our new home which is a post and beam frame with bailed straw forming the outer walls. Darryl was able to accommodate my unusual requests for a straw bail build and the forty five degree pitch on the roof to support solar panels . If I were to build again I would not hesitate to use his services again.”
