“Having recently renovated a home in the historic district of Marblehead, the incredible result is a testament to our architect, Craig Bosworth. This was a total renovation, exterior & interior, and required vision and an eye for detail that went well beyond the drawing board. Craig is not only a talented architect but has a very creative eye and came up with many aesthetic suggestions while never compromising the structural integrity of the building/project. Craig was engaged throughout the whole process and we would recommend him without reservation.”

“Keery Design planned my retirement home in Scituate, MA on the same lot of land owned by my daughter and son-in-law. Because of zoning regulations the house was limited to 750 square feet. If anyone had told me prior to David's design for my home that I would be happy in 750 square feet I would not have believed it. But I am thrilled with the design and the livability of my home. Every square inch is usable space. There is a loft built in over the kitchen for my grandchildren's visits. The house is open and airy with gorgeous window views of the blueberry bushes and the woods at the edge of the property The angles in the home and the high ceilings create a feeling of space.. The house was designed to coordinate with my daughter's home and it does that beautifully. David worked throughout the process with the builder and offered many wonderful suggestions about material and accessories and that helped me to stay within my budget. The result is a home which I love and visitors rave about when they come. Beautiful space creates a feeling of contentment and peace. This space does that for me. I couldn't be happier with the design and building of my home.”

On a Palo Alto home remodel, she included many "Green Building" components: radiant floor heating, solar panels, bamboo flooring, and non-VOC paint. “John Margolis was the architect in charge of the gut renovation of a "problem" house. He saw the pluses and minuses of our site. He was thorough about understanding our needs and preferences. He gave us ideas and guidance on design and materials, and also knew when to step back. He was easy to work with, and steered us toward a contractor and subs who did quality work on deadline and on budget. What could have been a difficult project moved smoothly to a very satisfying result.”

“Dan Hisel Architect worked us on the planning and drafting of our mid-century modern house. We selected him based on recommendations and his affinity with the style of our house. Dan has patiently worked with us on drafting plans that spoke to our concerns and desires while inserting his knowledge, expertise, and esthetics into what ended up a beautiful set of plans. He subsequently has worked diligently to identify contractors that appropriately balanced quality of work and price. Work is currently underway and Dan again has shown leadership in managing the planning and progress of the work. I highly recommend Dan Hisel Architect without reservation.”
