“Jessica Larsen is an amazing design professional. She brought a wealth of knowledge, experience and creativity to our house design. Before we started the project, we gave her a few photos of what we were looking for and she designed a beautiful structure that fits the site perfectly. The home is well situated to take advantage of the views and natural light, while also taking into account window placement for privacy from neighbors. The floor plan is efficient and flows very well, with comfortably sized room and with minimal hallway/wasted space. Throughout the design process, Jessica was very responsive to our questions and needs, and she was prompt with making revisions and changes. “I have a mountain home with a multi level metal roof and a large wraparound deck. I wanted to screen in a significant part of the deck to create a space with a tongue and groove wood ceiling covered by a metal roof that would blend into our existing structure. Two highly recommended screening companies turned us down stating there were too many roof angles to accomplish the job with any quality result.
After some research I hired Kirk Bowden, architect and owner of Bowden Environments LLC. Kirk is a talented professional. He took his time, paid close attention to our needs and goals and was a pleasure to work with. Kirk created a design that would give us the functional space we desired while making sure it would blend in with the current structure to look as if it was built with the original home. Kirk also recommended the right contractor he knew would get the job done correctly. He recommended Adam Spencer of Lifesize dwellings. The architectural drawings were completed and Adam excepted the challenge. The end result far exceeded our expectations. “The company I work for recently hired ACM Design to redesign a small office space into a room for client meetings. Our goal was to mimic the atmosphere of a residential space from within the walls of an office building. From the very beginning of the design process, Amy was very responsive and helped greatly in navigating our needs into what was realistic for the space. With less than 200 square feet of space to work with, we had quite the challenge, but ACM Design's creative use of space and furnishings helped our project to become a beautiful setting where clients feel at home, rather than feeling like they are in a bland and sterile office. Toby does a great job of considering the environment in building a "green" home while also taking into consideration how to incorporate elements such as sun and moonlight into the interior of the home. His use of the many windows, strategically placed, has been a source of pleasure for us as we enjoy beams of sun and moonlight daily. Toby goes above and beyond to ensure the home is structurally sound and to ensure that proper drainage is top of mind.
