“I have chosen to work with Fentress Architecture Workshop on a number of occasions, both as a homeowner and contractor. James brings to the table a great deal of experience in both residential and commercial arenas, although my experience has been limited to residential applications. While he is fully capable of creating an independent design vision for a project, he, more importantly, has the ability to LISTEN closely to the desires of the client and allow their own vision to help drive the process. Some architects want to tell you what you want. James wants the final product to reflect your unique personality. Great architect and person.”

“Chris developed our home plans for construction. He was creative and showed excellent skill as an architect. He delivered exactly what we were looking for, and was willing to work with our Builder to accept minor recommendations which enhanced the overall construction cost. His 3-D modeling system was very helpful to visualize just how the rooms will fit together. His pricing was fair and we are very happy customers. I would definitely work with him again.”

“Sandi covers all bases - she is honest, flexible, amazingly easy to work with, always professional, expertly skilled, tech savvy, and an outstanding listener who also offers valuable advise and "saved the day" solutions when needed. After walking two novices through the process, she delivered final and flawless construction plans to us in mid-2016, and our custom dream home has since materialized, with stunning results. We couldn't be happier. We opted for Sandi's higher tier pricing option, and it was worth every penny. Don't let her pink-trimmed tool belt give you the impression that she's a light-weight!”

“We are completely satisfied with the level of service we received from Home Design Works. Our Tennessee lake home was in need of a face lift and an extensive remodel/addition. Home Design Works had been highly recommended to us by a local builder. They certainly did not disappoint. Matt Lawler took time to completely understand our lifestyle, needs and desires for our home (functionally and aesthetically). Our project presented unique challenges with property setback limitations. His creative architectural ideas, vision and experience were indispensable in making our dream become reality while working within the constraints of our property. “Last year we purchased a lake home on a narrow lot with a very steep slope. The home's parking was restricted to the basement level requiring navigation of 10 uncovered steps to enter the home. Brent Hunter designed us a beautiful and ingenious addition that allows covered parking and level entrance into our home. The design also allows for older or handicapped guests to easily visit our home . We just love the addition as it allows us to now enjoy our dream lake home well into our twilight years. Thank You Brent Hunter.”

“My wife and I worked with Lisa at LLG Residential Design on an addition to our house and a renovation of our kitchen. Lisa was fantastic to work with throughout the whole process. Lisa provided a lot of help not just on the planning of the addition and kitchen but also on how to deal with the builder, codes, and even input of materials and fixtures. Our project came out much better and for less cost due to a number of recommendations we never would have thought of. One idea in particular that everyone raves about when they see it was to use wainscoting in a particular area. Not only was it a great idea and really makes the room but Lisa also had an idea for which materials to use that dramatically cut the cost. If you're thinking of a renovation, addition, or new construction you should add LLG Residential Design to your short list of planners and designers”
