“I found Verity through a contact to help complete the planning stage of an extension that had become bogged down. She brought a highly structured approach to the process and good insights, imagination and flexibility to the development of the design. She was able to give a good steer through the various planning process hoops with an ultimately successful outcome - that despite the best efforts of the planners. “My property has been enhanced considerably by buildings designed by Studio Four Point Ten. My new summer house/cabin, greenhouse and carport have been met with universal approval from everyone, usually eliciting a “wow” on first sight. The buildings combine style with practicality. They are gifted designers with flair and an unfailing eye for detail. I have no hesitation in recommending Studio Four Point Ten.”

Our builders had no problems understanding the drawings and as a result everything went smoothly Professional, approachable and exceeded my expectations - Would definitely recommend.”

“Our requirement was a bit unusual as we needed to fit a new structure onto the rear of the house without compromising existing windows, and to create a novel and dramatic structure with ‘wow’ factor whilst transforming the overall look of the rear elevation. Where two previous architects had failed to find a solution that we liked, Lizzie took us through a layered process that ultimately delivered an exciting and unique solution. Through this, she developed a good understanding of what we were trying to achieve and we are delighted with the resulting scheme. Lizzie provided an excellent drawings pack that our builders rate as the best they have seen, and was highly effective at working through detail with us and the builders and key suppliers to ensure no issues or surprises as the build progressed. The final result certainly met and exceeded our expectations. Strongly recommend.”

“DHV Architects have designed a single storey rear extension, double storey side extension and internal remodelling to a 1930s semi-detached property. The design marries design and function, and is well considered for the sloping site. Communication has been excellent and the fees very reasonable.”

“We hired Ed after a personal recommendation to redesign our Edwardian cottage in the New Forest - not a straightforward job as the property is within a National Park, Conservation Area and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Ed designed the extensions to fit in with the existing building, remodelled the floor plans, ran the planning application and then put the drawings together for Building regulations and the builder. We couldn't be happier with the results - Ed really maximised the space by suggesting a side/rear extension, loft conversion and remodelling the inside space. We now have a house that flows with the space we needed - an extra bedroom, extra WC and a large open plan kitchen/diner leading out to the garden. Ed made so many great suggestions, including vaulting the ceiling in the kitchen which really improves the space and light. The planning application was on time and without problem. Highly recommended.”
