“Don Chapman of Chapman Design developed the design for a screened porch and covered pation addition to our 20 yr old home. The design developed was unique, met our needs, and blended with the style of our home. We selected the construction branch of this group, ICON, to build our addition. Doug Chapman provided project management from start to finish. All contractors were professional, skilled, and easy with which to communicate. Day to day communication from Doug was thorough but not disruptive to our work days. Don continued to provided design input. The project was finished on time and within budget. We love, love, love our screened porch and covered patio. Would highly recommend both Chapman Design and ICON construction.”

“After buying the magazine we selected a home called the Holly Grove that fits perfectly on our narrow 50 ft lot on Lake Huron. Since the main purpose of living on the lake is the view, the "shotgun" style home lets us see from front to back without blocking our view. We chose a builder from the Nothern region and using Houzz I have been able to come up with many ways to make use of my new smaller home. After seeing the kit to add to doors to make them slide by Anderson, we decided to add that to.our glass doors dividing the living and dining room. We have so many more ideas from the Houzz app and thanks to the architect from Southern Living we will have the home we want.”

“I have hired Ben Settle at Arcisan, Inc long before he started this company. Haven't looked for another since. I have used him on so many projects that I have lost count. He is a rare find in the residential design and build world. He is extremely detail-oriented, creative, thinks outside the box and he actually understands construction and how buildings go together. Such a rare find in the design world. Just because you can dream it...doesn't mean you can build it. So having someone that understands construction makes him a great find. You know his designs will work in the real world. I highly recommend him for residential design projects.”

“We love our new kitchen! The design was so much better than anything else we had seen. It's a perfect design and Kim was great to work with. It's amazing that even thought we took out three walls, there is more storage and counter space than before. Everything turned out better than expected. Can't say enough nice things about it.”

“We designed our new home long distance, with phone call meetings to evaluate. It was a fun experience designing and contemplating our home for retirement. Lucynda listened to what our vision was and worked together with us to achieve that vision, also making great suggestions for a few things that "work" that we didn't think of, in an attractive yet functional home we love living in.”

“Van at Upstate Drafting created some amazing plans for a custom lake house. He worked with us remotely after visiting the lake property, with many exchanges. Van had good ideas, and feedback. Along with the normal house plans, he provided electrical plans, and a 3D pdf of the house. The 3D allowed for viewing the house in many angles, along with interior views. Thanks for all Van!!!!”
