YES Steel Look Inspired Farmhouse

Our YES Steel Look Aluminium range seemed the obvious choice and particularly suited to sympathetically marry the industrial style with this wonderful renovated East Sussex farmhouse. The large window sizes meant modernising this rural building with thermally efficient windows whilst keeping a traditional appearance provided a particular challenge for our design team. The different mix of window shapes and sizes forced careful consideration for appropriate products that could create a striking look yet still be practical without spoiling the splendid beauty of the building itself. A full height upper floor window gave opportunity to place a door which could help maximise unifying indoor and outdoor spaces. A frameless Juliet Balcony helped maintain the uniform look of the window and door grid-lines. A fully glazed, large aperture panoramic window on the ground floor was specified to offer an unspoilt view of the wonderful outdoor walled garden which really exemplified the enchanting appeal of this fantastic property.
