Wiccopee Residence-Kitchen and Family Room

Photo by Chris Davis Cina We were brought in by this client to "finish" this project. The client has a love of design, but not alot of time. The new constuction house sits out in an open area amongst the rolling hills and valleys this part of New York State is known for. The kitchen has some lovely geometric detail selected by the client during the building phase, but we looked to provide a counterpoint to warm it up. The walls were Builder's grade white an, so we opted for the wonderful Benjamin Moore Adobe Beige hue to complement the warmth of the countertops. The painted black Windsor-style barstools and chairs from local Millpaugh Furniture add a bit of contrast to the neutral tones providing a nice pop. The custom soft roman shade in green and brick red fabrics from Robert Allen add softness to the space and frames the pretty view of the backyard.
