Browns and grey can vary from cooler tints to warmer shades. However, brown is often considered to be the warmer colour and grey the cooler colour, hence the two go great together. By "sandwiching" the white quilt between the dark brown parquet floor and the grey knitted throw on the bed really defined the "cocktail blend" of greys and browns in this room.
